He then noticed that he's near the monster. He kept his sword steady down as he kept falling....
And suddenly,
The sword stabbed the middle of the monster's eye. Causing a huge explosion after... ... .. .
(mark's POV)
The explosion... Its strong enough to end me!
I... I did well Even though I was horrible in the human world Atleast I did something here... Something that shows that I'm not really useless...
Was it worth it? I guess so
That, is what I at least thought before I lost consciousness.
Everything was black... I couldn't feel a thing...
It sort of felt like I died...
But no, I had a feeling that I was still alive
And suddenly I hear someone calling my name
"MARK! WAKE UP!" I hear
That voice... Is that... Yasha?
I could feel my body shaking.
I try to open my eyes slowly. And they did. It was blurry, but I could see the cyclops above me, shaking me.
"OH MY GOD MARK!!" Yasha shouted as she hugged me
"Grr... What happened?"
"You lost consciousness" somebody spoke. Yasha stops hugging me as she helps me up. I then remember what I did back at the elevator
"Oh right... Yeah... What happened to the monster though?" I ask as I rub my forehead
"That unknown creature had vanished right after that explosion" that person spoke again. I look at who it was. It was Spirit Butler "Luckily, you didn't die thanks to Meow's spell"
"Huh? Meow's spell?" I repeated as I look around to see if Meow was nearby. And she was, right beside the spirit Butler
"Yes, right before you hit that monster's eye, I used a power of mine around you to prevent you from getting harmed" Meow said
"But wait, the book-"
"I have it here" Meow said as she shows me the book
"Oh thank God..."
"Is everything here okay!?" Somebody asked as they approach us "I heard an explosion somewhere and I tried to come as soon as possible!"
I look at the person who just came, it was Amia
"Here Amia" Meow said as she gave Amia the book "I think this is the book that has the crystal piece"
Amia went silent as she looked at the book's cover
"... Heh," she spoke "yep, this is the book!" She said as one of the tentacles attached to her ear expands and went somewhere
