Chapter I: The Force is With You

A few years ago, five Rebel Jedi traveled to Kamino and destroyed the empire. They faced obstacles that no man nor woman could face alone. There was struggle, loss, gain, betrayal, and redemption.

After the death of their emperor, the empire started to crumble in on itself. The remaining officers were hunted down and incarcerated. The famous battle station, known as the Death Star, was destroyed and salvaged.

The Republic was reborn, and peace was brought back to the galaxy.

Y/N L/N, leader of the Sun Crew, recruited the Jedi grandmaster, Yoda to help him rebuild the Jedi Order, using the old rebel base on Yavin 4 as their new temple. The Jedi masters, Louis, Aasim, Violet, Ruby, Omar, Marlon, Mitch, Clementine, Y/N, and Yoda lead an army of Jedi in the new Republic.

Today is just another day for a young padawan. This boy is Luke Skywalker. Even though he's too old to start learning, the masters agreed that since he was the son of the Chosen One, he should be allowed training.

[With Luke]

Luke wakes up in his room at the Jedi Temple. His twenty-year-old roommate, AJ is putting his jacket on. AJ looks at Luke to see him waking up.

AJ: Hey. You gonna get up?

Luke: Yeah, just gimme a sec.

Luke gets out of bed. He grabs his clothes and walks into the bathroom. He sets everything down. He's gonna wash his face. He tries turning on the faucet, but water squirts out from the top.

Luke: What the--

He turns it off.

Luke: Damn.

AJ: What, what happened?

Luke: The sink's broken.

AJ: Agh.

After a few seconds, Luke walks out in his training gear.

AJ: You ready?

Luke: Should be.

Luke picks up his belt and straps it around his waist. The belt already has his lightsaber attached to it, along with a blaster.

Luke and AJ walk out of their room.

[With You]

You now have a beard and traditional Jedi robes. You're on top of a rock with about thirty students watching. You're showing them balance techniques.

You: Plant one foot on the ground, giving you the ability to use your leg for kicking if necessary.

You twirl your lightsaber in your hand.

You: If you don't have balance, you will undoubtedly fail.

You look at Gt, who's on the ground.

You: Now.

Gt lets out a Marksman-H combat remote.

*PEW!*

It shoots at you, but you deflect it with ease.

*PEW!*

It shoots again, and you deflect it.

You: Very good.

Gt calls off the droid.

You deactivate your lightsaber and you jump down off the rock.

You: If you have balance, you have a chance. That'll be all for today.

All the students walk off towards their next lesson, which should be with Louis.

???: Master?!

You turn around to see Luke and AJ running up to you.

Luke: Master, what did I miss?

You: Well, the entire lesson. That makes two this week.

You look at AJ.

You: AJ, you were on a roll this week. What happened?

AJ: My apologies, Master L/N. I simply didn't wake up on time and I accept full responsibility.

You smile.

You: It's alright. Just try not to miss tomorrow's lesson, got it?

AJ and Luke: Yes, master.

You: Thank you. Now, you don't wanna miss two classes, so I'd suggest you make it to that one.

They nod. AJ runs off.

Gt jumps on your shoulder as you start walking away. Luke starts walking next to you.

Luke: So what's happening next week?

You: Well, I'm gonna be teaching form III, soresu--

Luke: No, I mean...mission wise.

You: Ah. Still eager to go on your first assignment, are you?

Luke: Of course. I mean, I've been training for months! I thought by now I'd be on my TENTH mission.

You chuckle.

You: Patience, my young padawan. The time will come.

Luke: But when? I at least deserve to know that.

You stop walking, so he does too.

You: When I know, you will know.

He looks down.

You: Look, there's a difference between readiness and eagerness. When you're eager, you expect to succeed without a doubt. When you're ready, you will understand the true nature of the force...

You put your hand on his back.

You: and it will guide you.

Luke smiles.

You: You should probably get to your lesson.

Luke chuckles.

Luke: Yeah. Goodbye, master. May the force be with you.

You: Farewell, young padawan. May it be with you.

You watch Luke walk off with a smile. You walk away towards the entrance to the temple.

A/N: I know this is a short chapter to start it with, but I wrote 3000 words earlier, and I'm tired, so this is how it's gonna start.
