Y/n had a tight bond with her mother and father. They lived in Houston, Texas. Her mother was a big part of how y/n perceived life. Y/n got most of her looks from her mother and her last name from her father.

Y/n's mother was a beautiful woman with a jaw dropping smile and  beautiful brown skin to top it off. She was a black women who knew what she want and valued her life.

She taught y/n that everyday while she was still alive. She wanted y/n to have a better life and to always know her value no matter what.

Y/n's father was a huge part of her life too.

Y/n's father died when she was 12 years old, she remembered how daring and respectful he was. He was never afraid to show respect or love to any and everyone.

His smile can brighten up anyone's day and oh let's not get started on his laugh. He was a black men with pride and joy.

Y/n only visited her grandparents on holidays and every other weekend. When her mother died in the summer of her last year as a freshman, She had to move to Mystic Falls where her grandmother lived.

Y/n was devastated when she heard that her mother died on the way home from work in a car accident. 

She couldn't think or  eat or drink anything for 6 months straight.  She already lost her father now she lost her mother few years after.

She started to think that she was a walking curse. She didn't know any other family other than her grandparents in mystic falls.

Y/n transferred to mystic falls high school her sophomore year.  She was doing good until she became friends with Elena and her friends. They had a cool bond during her sophomore year.

She was a girl who attracted plenty of boys just from the way she smiled. She was a girl with glowing brown skin and a wide smile.

Bonnie was like her other half. She always was there for y/n and y/n was there for her.

Y/n's grandmother was best friends with Sheila, so that's probably one of the reasons why they were so close to one another.

Bonnie was starting to practice and learn about her magic more and more. Y/n loved watching Bonnie practice every since she told her she was a witch.

Y/n knew that Caroline had the other Salvatore brother but never cared to actually know how he look. She could admit that Stefan was good looking so his brother had to be good looking too.

She felt eyes on her for the pass weeks but never seen no one, it was always a black crow in her view.
