jade and kai managed to sneak out of their class meeting beck in the hallway. "who's car are we taking?" jade asked watching as beck picked kaisa up, carrying her as if she were a bride.
"we can take mine, but i don't feel like driving." kaisa said and held her keys. jade took the keys but they were snatched away from beck.
"jade last time you drove a car, that wasn't yours,was aunties and you almost put it in the back windshield of the car in front of us." beck said. jade scoffed, "they were going too slow."
"we were at a red light!" beck shouted and unlocked kai's car. "shotgun!" kaisa yelled running to the passenger seat. jade watched how beck looked at her and smiled.
jade and beck got in the car and beck left the parking lot of hollywood arts. "wait instead of the beach can we go to some place else?" kaisa asked the siblings. "where? is it less crowded than the beach would be?" aki nodded at jade and subconsciously leaned towards beck slightly.
"it's a place i found where like nobody goes, head in the direction of my house but take a left and look for the dirt road at the dead end that looks abandoned."
beck nodded and looked over to kai who was sat in the passenger seat dancing to whatever music played on the radio. "kai," kaisa hummed, "what happened to your parents?" jade asked quietly.
kaisa looked down at the hands in her lap, "i, i honestly don't know. one day i had parents and the next day i woke up in an empty house. i went to school in my same clothes from that night for a week. i had no food except school lunch for a week. my teacher realized something wasn't right and next think i knew, i was spending a year or so in an orphanage. the orphanage wasn't that bad, i learned to sing and dance there."
"im sorry for asking, babes. but let's get onto a new topic, you dance?" jade started grilling. beck chuckled and rested his hand on kai's thigh rubbing it giving her some form of comfort.
"ive been dancing since i was 6 1/2." kaisa laughed out. her statement only started more statements from her best friend.
