About 2 weeks after Kenric and I became councillors, my dad died while light-leaping and faded. 1 month later, while there was 2 weeks left until the funeral, my mom also died. Apparently it was another lightleaping accident, but when I asked Kenric, he seemed suspicious and said that if I wanted him to, he could look into it. I wanted him to. After 5 days, he came back to me and said that he had found something out. My mother and father hadn't died in lightleaping accidents, but that they died in a EVERBLAZE incident involving one of our former fellow councillors, Fintan. I was enraged that Bronte had kept this from me.
