~Chapter 2~

I watch as Lilith walks out our baby blue door. I walk back into the kitchen and put a filter into our coffee pot. I begin to make coffee then look out our window to see the street. It begins to snow as I see Lilith on the sidewalk waiting. I get confused so I pull out my phone and begin to text her. "Hey Lilith you good?," I said. I got no response as I saw Sofia, her girlfriend, walk up behind her and scare her. Sofia was wearing a grey trench coat, a messy scarf, and a dark blue jumpsuit. "AHHH!! You gave me a Heart Attack!," said Lilith. "Haha, Listen I have a surprise for you.. Meet me in Venue 22 down the street in 20, okay?," says Sofia. "Alright..". Sofia runs down the block at a very quick pace then walks into a modern, almost empty, brick building. Lilith stands in the same spot, then walks to a bench nearby and sits down. She pulls out her small phone and begins to type. "Yea! I'm fine! Sofia has a surprise for me! C:" she texts. "Oh cool! Tell me how it goes!<3, " I responded. 20 minutes later Lilith gets up from the bench and walks slowly to the building. When Lilith walks in, she gets bombarded with confetti. The interior of the building seemed as if to be a fancy 1800's era entrance. "What is all this?," says Lilith. She walks up to Sofia, but Sofia seemed to be dressed more formally then before. With a beige sparkly dress and her hair curled. "Are you gonna tell me what's up?," Lilith questioned. Sofia grabs Lilith's hands and Looks her in the eye. "Lilith, I know we haven't been together very long, but..." Sofia pauses and gets down on one knee, "Will you marry me?" Lilith starstruck says, " I-I uhm, I can't-." Then runs out the building in tears. Sofia runs after her. "Lilith! Is it too soon!?!" Sofia says out of breath, "Lilith wait!!!" "Sofia!!," Lilith turns around, "Don't you get it? I'm 22, I just graduated University, and we've only been dating for very few months? You think I'm ready for a commitment like this?" "I just- I just thought-," Sofia says, getting cut off. "NO! We should've talked about this! Sofia! I do love you! But, I'm not ready. Please don't make me feel worse about this than I already do?", Lilith says crying. Sofia grabs Lilith and kisses her. "Okay, Just give me a bit. Gosh it's freezing. Here have my Jacket, you're the one in a dress." Lilith says handing her the black striped coat. "Thank you, Lilith. And.. I'm sorry. I should've thought this through.", Sofia says beginning to cry. "HEY! Hey! It's okay! It's not your fault. You didn't know." Lilith says, "Now go in and get warm, it's starting to get really cold." Sofia turns and goes back into the building. Lilith rubs the mascara and eyeliner off her face that had messed up due to the crying. She turns back and walks back into the Flat. "Lilith are you okay?" I say. "No.", Lilith says and starts hugging me. We fall to the floor and just sit there. I hold Lilith up and begin to wipe off the tears then smile, "Hey! It's alright! What happened?"
