Chapter 15

After awhile he eventually fell asleep in my lap, so I picked him up, placed him in his bed and, put the covers over him making sure hes comfortable. I ruffled his soft curly hair and bent down kissing his forehead.

"Good night my love"

I turned out the light and left the room immediately making my way to Bakugos room. *Knock knock knock* I heard a bit of shuffling in the room but no answer. *knock knock*

"YEA I HEAR YA! SO HOLD YOUR GOD DAME FUCKING HORSES!"

I huff in annoyance a I wait for slow as- I mean Bakugo to get up.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HALF IN HALF!"

Bakugo yelled angrily as he opened the door in one quick swoop.

"I don't follow"

Bakugo sighed and lowerd his voice a bit, but still sounding angry.

"What I mean is, what are you doing knocking on my door at 1 in the fucking morning"

"It's really that late?"

I said checking watch.

"No shit Sherlock, now what do you need?"

"I wanted to ask a few questions regarding Midoriya"

I waited for his answer as he narrowed his eyes at me. He stayed quiet for quite awhile before finally replying.

"Fine, come in, but stop talking like your the fucking CEO of Universal Studios Japan" (USJ)

I walked in closing the door behind me and sitting in his desk chair as he walked over and sat on his bed.

"What do you want to know?"

He growled tiredly rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"How long have you and Midoriya been friends"

"I knew you ask me that, especially since I dodged the question last time"

He sighed.

"I've know that nerd my entire life, but believe it or not we weren't always friends"

I felt my breath catch in my throat.

"I use to bully him all throughout middle school, I even told him to kill himself if he missed his mom so badly"

Bakugo sighed lifting his head up and I could see tears threatening to leave his eyes

"I didn't realize it untill one day he didn't show up to school, which was weird so I left school and went to his house. I found him in his bedroom laying limp on the floor with an empty pill bottle of nemphinefrine in his hand"

My eyes widen in shock as I gasp.

"Y-you mean he-"

"Yea he tried, I called an ambulance and luckily they were able to save him"

I sighed letting out a breth I unknowingly held in.

"Why? You seem like you've been friend for a long time"

"Well we use to play alot together when we were little but when I found out he was quickless I wanted nothing to do with him"

"What do you mean quirkless, he has a quirk I saw it during the exam Aizawa gave us"

Bakugo strangly smirks.

"Yea, turns out the little shit was a late bloomer"

"Oh..."

"So anymore questions officer?"

Bakugo says sorta sarcastic and sparky.

"Only one"

Bakugo looks up at me

"Ok shoot"

"How long has Midoriya been a mute"

Bakugos eyes soften as he pulls out his phone and starts typing something

"I haven't heard a word come from that boys lips since his mother died"

He tosses me his phone and I recognized the video he pulled up, its the same one Midoriya showed me a few days ago.

"What? A stick up your ass or something, play the damn video"

I look up at Bakugo glaring at him as I play the video and look back down

"Dont be bemused it's just the news, we just got a new story, the Midoriya residence was set ablaze by what we dont know, but it definitely wasn't natural. There was only 1 death in this tragedy, Inko Midoriya was murdered today in her own home. We know she has a son, Izuku Midoriya who's 8 years old, who's seen in this video we're about to show you"

I pay close attention to the play back footage being shown on screen. It shows the house burning and a small green headed boy running up to it only to be stopped be a hero. Getting a better close up view of the kid it was definetly Midoriya. Midoriya struggled and fought in the heros grip trying to get free.

"No, let me go, I can still save her!"

Midoriya was crying now and all the heros did was watch, they wernt even trying to save her.

"I'm sorry but there's not much we can do for your mommy right now"

Another hero told him. And then it stopped. The video stopped and I didn't want it to. I was hoping by some miracle she walked out of the burning house or the heros saved her. I WANTED HIM TO HAVE A HAPPY ENDING!!!

"You good?"

I looked up forgetting he was there and felt something wet on my face, had I been crying this whole time? I wiped my tears away with my sleeve and looked back up at Bakugo

"Yea im fine"

I tossed him back his phone and stood up.

"Thanks Bakugo for giving me your time"

I opened the door and left his room but before I closed it Bakugo yelled

"OI! I TOLD YOU TO STOP TALKING LIKE A FUCKING BUISSNESS MAN YOU CANADIAN FLAG LOOKIN HEAD ASS!!!"
