The yellow molly growled as her glare was on one of the WillowClan warriors: Pondleech. Moonstar and the brown tom glared together at Pebble-eye.

"It was him who killed Bigrock!" she hissed. She bunched her hindlegs, ready to pounce on the brown warrior. His green eyes challenged, but its gleam betrayed their fear. Stormstar snarled at them.

"Our ancient warriors found this place to bring a temporary peace treaty. It will not be broken," the leader hissed. Pebble-eye and Pondleech left their gaze on the ground.

"I can assure you, Stormstar, that our warriors never attacked today, they were too busy patrolling on our territory to find that fox," assured Dawnstar.

"Who says it happened today? It happened eight sunrises ago." The LeafClan leader added, "Tell me, Dawnstar, were some of your warriors gone from camp on that night of the half moon?"

Reluctantly, Dawnstar dipped her head, ashamed. Her tail flicked to side to side. The movement gave away that Stormstar was right. Then Dawnstar's head lifted up, her gaze on Stormstar. "Is there evidence that one of my warriors attack?"

"Not just attacked, downright murdered!" Pebble-eye cried. The two leaders ignored her.

"Bigrock's apprentice Riverpaw smelled your scent in our territory, along with Pebble-eye. And guess what, Dawnstar!" Stormstar continued, "the scent was fresh! So do not deny that it was stale, but even if it was it further proves that you need to assert your control over your warriors!" Dawnstar shook her head, fazed by the insult.

"What about the fox? It could've taken the two WillowClan kits into your territory," a cat spoke out. Fangclaw recognized the voice. It was Wolfhowl, one of the combatants.

"Do you have a memory of a fish? The fox crossed MeadowClan's territory, far away from LeafClan's!" Stormstar hissed impatiently.

Fangclaw shook his head in disappointment. After the ginger warrior took away Cheetahstar's (former LeafClan leader) last life, the original clans decided to let ClawClan stay. Their respect were earned. Fangclaw looked down at the gray combatant, his ears folded in embarrassment. Will this affect the respect that ClawClan worked so hard to earn for?

Pebble-eye continued her accusation. "I saw Pondleech attacking Bigrock. I saw his green eyes showing no emotion as my former mentor's blood splattered on that fox-hearted traitor's black pelt!" Every cat went silent, and there was only the sounds of owls.

"Do you have bees for a brain? Does my pelt looks black?" Fangclaw agreed silently as the brown warrior insulted and pointed out the obvious. "You obviously mistaken a loner's pelt for my brown pelt," Pondleech said.

"No! The moon wasn't bright enough and its lights were blocked by trees so it could've darken your pelt to make it seem black!" Pebble-eye retorted and added to Dawnstar, "You never explained how your clan's scent was in my clan's territory." The two she-cats glared, their claws unsheathed as if they're ready to fight.

"If it was dark, wouldn't that mean that the color of this traitor's pelt could be anything? Maybe is dark gray or something," a cat below the boulders interrupted the two angry she-cats.

Dawnstar sat back down, nodded, and announced, "That is very true, but that means the only reliable source to find the culprit are the green eyes."

Fangclaw could hear growling from many warriors, ones with green eyes.

"That's ridiculous!" a MeadowClan cat remarked.

"It definitely wasn't me, I was taking care of my kits."

"Hey! Who said that green eyes are reliable? Mousedung, why should we trust that LeafClan cat's words? Maybe she, and the apprentice, killed Bigrock!"

Soon, everyone started to argue. The ears of Fangclaw buzzed, making them flick-flick-flick. The leader closed his eyes and concentrated to make his ears block the sounds, but no efforts. Soon his closed-vision were darkened. Cats below crying and gasping. He opened his eyes and saw nothing but darkness. A cat leapt on one of the rocks, it was Ivyscar.

"StarClan and DeadClan had enough watching us breaking the treaty that holds in The Boulders," she stated. "It is very clear that there is a murderer among us, but also a murderous clan!" Lightning interrupted her speech. Quickly, Ivyscar growled, "Our ancestors wants us to go back to our clans, end of Gathering!" there was a sound of feet landing on soft sand below the four boulders.

Following the three leaders, Fangclaw leaped off, then waved his tail for his warriors. He tried to adjust his eyes to see his clanmates, then moved on the path that leads them back to ClawClan.
The elder's heart darkened. He knew that the next meeting will be serious and every cat's fur will be ruffled. Fangclaw looked at his clanmates. He knows that his warriors would never do a deed so risky and evil, as he had faith in them. Right?
