episode 8 || jules leaving town

the saddest part of the ending was jules leaving. even though rue and jules' friendship was toxic (now before i continue let me explain why it was toxic), during season 1 episode 2, when rue met mouse and gave her fentanyl, jules told rue she didn't want to get attached to someone who was gonna kill themselves. that's the only reason why rue went clean. it's a toxic environment for rue to only stay clean for 1 person when she needs to do this for herself. rue had so much love for jules and was there for her when she needed comfort. anytime jules needed someone for comfort, she would go to rue. when rue needed comfort jules wasn't there for her. she hooked up with another bitch while rue was having one of the worst experiences of her life. even though it apparently didn't happen when she left, there's so much jules needs to work on to have a healthier relationship with rue. 

now back to where i was, even though rue & jules' friendship was toxic, it was tragic to see them separate. they had so much love for each other no matter what situation they'd have themselves in. even when jules admitted to being in love with anna, because she reminded her of rue.

now before i got into euphoria theories, about 2 months ago i didn't know much about jules and rue's full relationship. here's what i said about their relationship once i finished the show.

my response:

"everyone's saying rue's relationship with jules was toxic when literally jules was rue's path to happiness. it was toxic in the most love type way how jules sometimes hooks up with other guys or GIRLS , jules wanted it to work out the way rue wanted to work out. it's like jules didn't always count herself in the relationship, literally rue started overdosing again when jules left, that's how important she was and i don't know how their like "relationship" was toxic. i don't see it. literally give me any reason and maybe i'll understand but i understand that it was hard for them to put both of them in a good place together."

now i can give a reason for myself 2 months ago in 3rd person. the reason rue started overdosing again was obviously because jules left. i didn't realize that THAT was the toxic part. 1 person stopped her when i said from before, she should be doing it for herself. it was rue's idea for jules to go herself and that was honestly a really good idea in my pov. so my main theory is jules is OBVIOUSLY going to come back. not because her character is too important or too much of a main character, but jules has evolved into the show to the point where her leaving will change a lot for everybody. if jules does come back i have a feeling jules and rue won't have as much love as they used to have for each other. they still have the "rules" tattoo at the base of their gums and it will definitely reflect onto some parts of season 2. not everything in high school will last forever, but this one will. jules and rue are amazing together and this time i know for a fact they'll take it extremely slow. there's no way they'd go back to normal like they didn't try escaping the town, and ended up separating.
