Chapter 4

"S-Sila? Are you sure?" I was shaking a bit.

"Yes-- I'm super sure, napaka-clear kaya ng memories ni Trina," she moved her chair closer towards me.

"Oh my goodness! Killers sila-- pero free lang silang gumala dito sa campus?" I whispered. "We have to do something."

"Do something? Like do what? I don't want to get sali sa mga ganyang things, I'm out on that," she stood pero hinila ko siya pabalik sa upuan.

"Really? Sige- don't do something, pero when that ghost in the library haunts you, h'wag mo rin akong isali ha," I quickly stood. I walked out on her. I want people who are straightforward.

"M-Miss!" I heard her calling me, but I didn't look back. "Miss Kali please-"

"What?! Ang gulo mo kasi kausap eh-- don't talk to me if wala kang matinong sasabihin!" I crossed my arms.

"Sarry namen--" she said but her accent was irritating me. "Fine-- I'll do what I need to do."

"Good-- wala ng atrasan 'to ha, once you're in, you're in, do you understand?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Fine-- as if may choice naman ako diba?" she pursed her lips.

"May sinasabi ka?" I rolled my eyes.

"Kali! Halika!" I heard Bentley's voice and upon looking back, I saw him rushing towards us.

"Why what's wrong?" I asked.

But without answering my question, he pulled me away.

We settled in a bench under the shade of a tree. Bentley glared on Ansley as if he's waiting for my explanation because of her prescence.

"Hi! I'm Ansley--" she extended her hand to him. "Kali's new friend."

I raised my eyebrow upon hearing what she said. As far as I could remember, I never used the term friend ever.

"Bently-- her cousin," nag-shake hands sila.

"No-- she's just an acquaintance, not a friend. She knows something that's why she's here," mariin kong sabi. "Now-- bakit ka ba humahangos couz? What's wrong?"

"Pwede ba tayong mag-usap- ng tayo lang?" nakakunot noo nitong tanong. "Tungkol sa library."

"I see-- much better that we'll talk with her, because she knows better than us," I sighed. "Now tell us-- what happened?"

Bentley stood, moving around. Parang hindi 'to mapakali.

"May nangyari sa librarian, as of this moment nasa clinic siya," napahawak siya sa ulo n'ya. "Nabagsakan siya ng napakaraming libro, natamaan siya sa ulo at nahimatay."

"Oh my goodness!" I almost yelled. "What's in that library ba?"

"They killed Trina there, and because she can't accept that she's dead already, kaya ayan she's hurting people," sagot ni Ansley.

"Hindi na siya si Trina-- masamang espirito na 'yun," Bentley protested.

"She's Trina-- but you're right, there's a demon controlling her," Ansley stood. "Ginamit lang n'ya 'yung anger ni Trina, for her to do bad to people."

"Ano bang alam mo?" malakas na tanong ni Bentley.

"She can see events from the past," I directly answered. "When she touched certain thing, a person owns."
