Once again

It's been a few weeks since Athanasia came back and it's been whirling around the Ruby Palace that the Princess is a genius. But it wouldn't leave the Ruby Palace and so Athanasia didn't give it much thought.

'But it was best to keep the maids on my side this life.' Athanasia decided even though she wasn't so fond of the idea. But it didn't mean that she had to play nice and win their affections. Athanasia just needed them to acknowledge her as their Princess and respect her. Like him, everyone was undoubtly loyal to him and respected him.

'But why exactly?' Athanasia thought as she thought back to her past life. 'He somehow had an aura around him that demanded respect but how?' Athanasia recalled the thing she most remembered, his eyes.

His glare was deadly and nobody would dare to stand up against it. 'That glare. I know it best out of anyone and if anyone could mimic it, it would be me.' Athanasia thought as she looked up at the maid cleaning the room. Closing her eyes and clenching her fists Athanasia's eyes snapped open as she gave the maid her coldest glare.

The maid felt a slight chill as she slowly slowed down on her work. 'That's weird. I don't know why I got a chill, suddenly?' The maid thought as she continued her work making a disappointed Athanasia.

With a sigh Athanasia stopped, rubbing her eyes. 'Just one more try.' Athanasia decided before unleashing her eyes on the maid once more.

As the chill returned more fierce than before the maid this time stopped and turned to the source. As the maid locked eyes with the baby Princess she was stuck with a familiar fear and her gaze dropped. 'Maybe it'a time for the Princess's nap.' The maid decided as she felt silly being so intimated by a baby. "You are defiantly a Princess of His Majesty." The maid exclaimed as she made her way over to Athanasia. 'I can't imagine what she'll be like when she grows up.' The maid wondered as she set Athanasia in her crib and began rock her to sleep.

'I just need to grow right now. Who'd really be intimated by a baby?' Was Athanasia's last thought before her eyes became to heavy to open.

The sun shined brightly, letting everyone know it was officially summer. Athanasia was taking a walk with a book in her hands.

But a sound of faint clashes and bangs caught Athanasia's attention and she began to follow the sound. 'I-I remember this day!' Athanasia thought back. Soon she appeared in the training grounds of the knights who were at the moment sparring.

Nobody noticed her presence as they were to rallied up in the fight. The two knights swords cut the wind as they clashed into each other. Athanasia was only able to catch a glimpse before one of the swords came flying out towards her.

She watched as the sword came flying towards her and she quickly swung her book to block it from hitting her. She hit the end of the sword just in time making it's blade turn and the sword fell before her.

Athanasia surprised gazed down in awe at the sword that had almost struck her. It was very beautiful in her eyes and put her in a daze.

The knights were dead silent as they all trembled in fear and dropped to their knees for having almost killed a member of the royal family. "Your Highness, I am so sorry! I-I didn't know you were there!" The young knight who lost his sword cried out as tears brimmed his eyes. Athanasia was surprised at the sudden outburst and all the kneeling knights. Then a knight in more of a formal wear than others appeared before Athanasia could speak.

"I'm the Major of the Second squadron, Leroy Ainsely. Please let me take the punishment in the stead of my subordinate as I was the one whom failed him." The knight bowed before Athanasia. "Major-!" The knight who lost their sword began but was cut off. "Shut up, you've caused enough trouble." The major snapped still keeping his head low as the knight followed his orders and lowered his gaze.
