'Why'd he save me?' Athanasia wondered as she laid in bed, almost done recovering from being sick. 'Why have we even been spending time together? Well at least I've been sick I've been able to avoid him.'

'This is just like my last life! I'm spending to much energy on him! Thinking of him to much!' Athanasia cursed in her mind as she got out of bed. 'I deserve something sweet, like chocolate.' She thought as she snuck down to the kitchen. Even though she loved sweets she restricted herself for her training.

She reached up onto the shelf trying to grab chocolates out of the basket. When the door suddenly slammed open.

"Princess!" Lily called. "Your presence has been requested!" She said, grabbing Athanasia's arm. She quickly pulled the confused Princess outside.

Where her maids were waiting along with another crowd maids that Felix stood in front of.

"It's an honor to serve Princess Athanasia!" The new maids said bowing before Athanasia. 'I don't need that many maids.' She thought. 'What are they even doing here? What's happening?' She wondered.

"Felix Robane. At your service." Felix bowed in front of her. "I will be your temporary Royal guard starting from today, My Princess." Felix smiled.

'Is this because of the lake?' Athanasia felt her eye twitch. 'That isn't Claude. He'd never do such a thing like compensation for me.' The Princess was only pissed off.

"We, We are grateful for His Majesty's concern but how could we have Sir Felix as guard." Lily stuttered over her words. "His Majesty's intention is to cherish the Princess and treat her well." Felix smiled happily. "D, Does he now?" Lily's answers not knowing what to say. Athanasia's maids were also confused. "His Majesty is preparing an official guard for the Princess so I probably won't be here long." Felix says. "It's an honor to serve you My Princess." Felix tells Athanasia.

After a few moments of silence Athanasia finally spoke, "I don't need this. I'm fine with the maids I have now and my life has never been in danger so I don't need a person guard. Please tell him I appreciate this gesture but I don't need it." She said before turning to walk away.

"But Princess, this is a gift from His Majesty to show how much he cherishes you." Felix calls after her. "I don't feel like repeating myself." Athanasia says as she leaves. She didn't want any of this nor need it. She's already trained her maids she didn't need to start over either. She didn't understand why he was doing this, why he is acting so different.

"Well Princess His Majesty mentioned that he wanted to share dinner with The Princess during dinner, may you discuss it then!" Felix announced. 'This day keeps getting worse.'

"Princess wouldn't it be best if you change your clothes?" Lily asked Athanasia who was in just a cute causal dress. Athanasia who was in a bad mood and already upset with Claude refused.
"No, I don't wanna!" She whined hiding behind on the chair from Lily. These were the times she appreciated being a five year old when she can act out like this sometimes.

"Sir Felix, say something." Lily tells Felix. 'How are they close enough where Lily speaks comfortably?' Athanasia wondered looking at the two.

"Princess Athanasia looks lovely in everything. Certainly His Majesty would think likewise." Felix says smiling at the Princess. 'A second Lily? Athanasia thought. 'It's weird to get a compliment like this from someone other than Lily. Ah, well I guess the other maids around here have been more gushy than I remember them being before. I always hear them calling me cute in the hallways.' Athanasia thought.

"You're right of course." Lily agrees with Felix. He then went and picked up the surprised Princess.

'He really just picked me up? I haven't been picked up since I could walk.' Athanasia thought staring at Felix with a incredulous expression.
