After calling him Papa he quickly ended their tea time together. Athanasia wasn't surprised. She was actually happy to have annoyed him. She had now decided anytime she saw him in the future she'll always call him Papa to irritate him no matter what he says. Not that she was expecting to see him anytime soon.

Athanasia was returned to the Ruby Palace by Felix. They walked side by side since she didn't wish to be carried.

When they reached the palace that was in chaos looking for the lost princess. When they saw The Princess and Felix coming their way they all came running. Lily quickly snatched Athanasia holding her defensively. Athanasia just hugged the poor scared nanny. They all glared at Felix, the kidnapper who was desperately trying to explain himself. Athanasia just watched him struggle not saying anything.

"His Majesty said he would come visit Princess Athanasia in the near future." Felix suddenly said that really caught Athanasia's attention as well as the other maids who were surprised. 'Why is he planning on seeing me again?' She wondered. 'This never happened before? What is happening?' She wondered feeling sick in her stomach again not understanding what was happening. She didn't want to see him again. She hated him. She only wanted to stay as far away as possible.

'I've never seen any of these maids this happy.' She thought annoyed looking at everyone's reaction. 'He should just stay away.' Athanasia pouted, upset. She loathed the Emperor. He was no father in her eyes. At least not hers. 'Dirtbag, killer, heartless asshole.' She cursed him in her head knowing that whatever he decided is what will be no matter her protest.

Lillian put Athanasia down as the went to enter the audience room to meet Claude. 'Worst week of my life.' Athanasia thought as the door opened and they entered.

"Blessings and Glory upon the sun of The Obelian Empire." Lillian says bowing before Claude. As Athanasia just stood there acting like she didn't know she was suppose to at least bow to. 'I guess the one benefit on being a child.' She thought.

"I haven't been able to pay enough attention to my one and only daughter due to my duties at court." Claude began to say. 'What kind of lies is this? You abandoned me!' Athanasia responded in her head. 'You always were able to make time for your beloved daughter before also.' She continued.

"But still, Athanasia has grown into such a healthy child. The credit belongs to you." Claude praised Lillian. 'Yes everything is thanks to Lily. Since my father is worthless.' Athanasia wanted to roll her eyes.

Even though she cursed him in her head she still had bad anxiety being around him. She kept fiddling her fingers as her palms sweat. She kept her gaze down as she took shallow breaths.

"However, from now on, I will being looking into the Princess's well being. There will be no need to worry." Claude says. 'That is every reason to worry!' Athanasia thought looking at the Emperor who was smirking down at her. 'What is he thinking? Is he wanting to make my life a living hell?' She wondered. 'Why is he smiling?' She was scared as she never seen him smile, at least not at her.

The time the Princess wished to be ignored, for the emperor to pay her no mind, is the time he declared he'll see to it to spend more time with her and look after her. 'He always does what I don't want.' Athanasia concluded.

"Starting today, Princess Athanasia will be treated as a proper princess." He announced annoying the Princess and shocking Lillian. 'Will Leroy still train me once the word spreads?' She wondered.

'He never acknowledged me as his daughter before. My last life he even told me that he never saw me as his daughter! What has gotten into l him!' Athanasia asked herself.
