You wondered if this is what college was all about: a whole bunch of deadlines. You're only a freshman and you're already so busy. Having been elected into the student council, you had a lot of things to take care of like student activities and outside school events. Then there's also the fact that you have to continually keep your grades up to be able to stay in the honor list, as well as a member of the council. It was a touch job but you were able handle it. It's just that these past few weeks had been like hell for you and every time you checked your to-do list, it's seemed to be never-ending.

You were in the library, typing away on your laptop when your phone vibrated on the table. You sighed heavily as the idea you were just about to type in disappeared. You were about to give the caller a piece of your mind but froze when you saw who was calling:

Jimin.

You smiled slightly as you answered, "Hello?" you whispered.

"Jagiya," said Jimin, his familiar voice ringing in your ears, making you feel giddy inside. "I miss you."

Your smile widened as you scrolled through the paper you were working on, "I miss you too, jimin."

"What?" He teased. "I can't hear you~"

"I said I miss you too."

"Why are you whispering?"

"I'm at the library."

You heard the sound of chuckling on the other end of the line, "Oh. Are you busy? Am I interrupting?"

Yes, you wanted to say but couldn't. You rarely got to see jimin with him being an idol and all and you didn't want to blow him off; especially not on a phone call. "No, it's fine."

"Great! You wanna have lunch with me? I can sneak out a bit today."

You groaned inwardly at the offer. It sounded so tempting but you knew you had to decline. "Jimin-"

"Y/N-ie~" he sang making you smile, and making it harder for you to turn him down. You hated it when he went all sweet with you like this. "You know I love to, Jimin. But I can't today."

"Oh." You could hear the disappointment in his voice and the guilt gnawed on you. "It's okay Jagiya. Next time?"

"Next time." You assured. The two of you talked for a little while before you asked to hang up, telling him that you have a class you needed to prepare for.

"Alright jagi. Fighting!"

"I love you." you said.

"I love you too." He replied, before hanging up.

The following week was literally like hell, with you working and studying non stop. Your days literally went on like this: wake up, grab a protein bar, study, do some paper works, go to school, study, go to council meetings, meet with your professors for consultations, have some more council meetings, and then do some more studying at home. You hardly had time to eat or take some downtime with all the work you've been doing.

What's worse is that your boyfriend had been constantly trying to sway you into spending some time with him and you had completely shut him down every single time. You ignored his texts, phone calls, and even blew him off on dates a couple of times.
