Name: Ji Eun.
------------------------------------It was boiling hot now that it was mid-summer; perfect weather for painting the house. You had recently moved in with you current long-term boyfriend Baekhyun a month ago and you both decided that the apartment you were living in needed a complete make-over. With the approval from your land-lord, you and Baekhyun had been planning the arrangement, layout and colour scheme of the place - minor arguments had occurred but were quickly resolved.
"Ah! I hate this heat!" Baekhyun complained as he stepped down from the ladder with an empty palette which stored the paint for him to use whilst painting the cornices of the main bedroom you two shared.
"It'll get cooler in a few hours, don't worry." You said as you used the roller to paint the wall opposite him white.
"AN HOUR? UGH!" He complained as he stomped his feet on the ground like a child, pouting in misery. You looked over at him and just smiled, staring at the cuteness that was on display for you to see.
"You'll be fine. It'll come sooner than you think I promise." You continued to roll the paint up and down the wall, covering the old, peeling baby blue paint with fresh off white paint that would lighten up the room completely.
" ji-eun You're always so positive." Baekhyun smiled to himself as he poured more of the paint into his palette. Baekhyun loved you so dearly. He found you so humble and optimist and always open and prepared to try new things; some of the many reasons to why he fell for you in the first place. You stopped for a moment, rolling the roller down to the floor that was covered with plastic sheets. You stopped to think, to conclude to something, saying it aloud. "The amount of times I have heard that it has never been as special until now that you've said it." You smiled, turning around to look at him with a smile as usual blushed. His cheeks were vibrant red, his eyes searching the floor before meeting yours.
He squeaked a little as he did whenever he would get excited over something.
"Aww Baekhyun." You teased him a little before he turned away and made his way back up the ladder.
"Shh. Stop it."
"Awwwwwww! Baekhyunnnm!" You went even further, making him even more shy and adorable.
"Stop!" He raises his voice slightly, still totally embarrassed.
"AWW BAEKHYUNNN!"
Then it began. Baekhyun pushed his paint directly into the palette of white paint, scooping it onto his brush and flicked his wrist exactly in your direction. You saw a heap of white paint coming towards you just before it splattered over your right cheek and into your hair. You were in disbelief, kindly pissed off.
"How dare you." You glared up at him, the one standing tall and proud on the top of the ladder with the biggest smirk on his face. You bit down on your bottom lip, shaking your head furiously as you dropped the handle of roller on the ground and swiftly moved quickly to pick up the paint brush below you. You glared at him, letting a smile grow upon your face as you dipped it into the red paint you had lying around to test as a feature wall later on. You threw it up at him, splattering it on the baby blue wall behind him and all in his hair, letting to drip down his forehead.
"Oh it's on!" Baekhyun quickly scrambled down the ladder, giving you enough time to grab the small sample tin of paint and run away towards the door. Just as you were about to exit the room, you felt the paint brush move across your back and onto your ass.
"Ahh!" You stopped and turned around, dipping your paint brush into the red tin and flick it rapidly in Baekhyun's directly.
"Ahh!" He squeals, mocking you in the slightest. He ran towards the back wall where the window was, again covered with plastic sheets. You continuously flickered paint at him, drenching him with red dots of all sizes over his body and clothing. You were tempted to pour the paint all over him, but you didn't want to waste all of the paint and cover him in it.
