danna was walking through the halls when she was suddenly dragged into an empty classroom.
"qué pasó?" she asked when zabdiel closed the door. "we need to talk," he said to her, in full seriousness.
the girl raised an eyebrow at him, confused. "about what?" she asked. "your abuelita called me this morning," he said to her.
"she said she wanted me to join you guys this friday," he said again. "why'd she want you to join us?" she asked, walking towards the door.

zabdiel leaned his arm on the wall, "i don't know, you tell me," he said. she looked up and met his eyes.
"maybe she thinks we're..." zabdiel's sentence faded and danna connected the dots. "woah hey- no. why would she- oh god," she facepalmed.
"what are we gonna do?" she asked him. "oh, thank you for asking me for once," he chuckled and she rolled her eyes.
"well i'm gonna have to go either way," he shrugged. "well then you'll have to dress up bombón, because apparently we needa be fancy," she said to him.
"what do you mean?" he questioned. the brunette shrugged. "you can call abuelita and ask her," she stated, an innocent smile on her face.
"now if you'll excuse me," she said again, walking out of the class.
victoria stopped in her tracks when she saw zabdiel walk out right after danna. the blonde smirked as an idea came to mind.

victoria waited by the stairs, tapping her phone patiently. she's always wanted to get to danna; in the not so good way, and she thought this was her chance.
right on time, zabdiel walked down the stairs on his own, about to go see his friends.
"zabdiel!" the girl called out for him, making him stop in front of her. "uhm hi?" he said. "hi," she smiled at him.
"what did you call me for?" he asked her. "oh ya know, i just wanted to talk," she shrugged. "i heard you made the soccer team," she said and he nodded.
"congrats," she geeked. "you know people always say, the cheerleader and the soccer player would always be a perfect couple," victoria said, twirling her finger into her hair.
"okay what are you tryna say?" zabdiel sighed. victoria got a sign from her friend that danna was walking over, so that was a green light for her next move.
"nothing, i just wanted to do this," she said, pulling his face down and smashing their lips together. danna literally braked in the middle of the halls seeing that.
without a second thought she turned around and walked away. she would be lying if she didn't feel anything, but who did she think she is to stop that?
zabdiel pushed victoria away, wiping his face with his hands. "what was that?" he questioned her. he looked around and saw danna, walking away.
"i really like you okay?" she said. before she could say anything more he stopped her, "don't come near me ever again."
the boy went after danna, quickly catching up with her. "danna, danna," he called out, grabbing her elbow to stop her.
she mentally cursed her legs for being so short compared to his.
"i can explain-" he said but she hushed him. "you don't need to do that, i don't care," she stated, her face holding the same cold expression he got when he first met her.
"no listen, you know i don't like her at all!" he exclaimed. "i'm sorry okay?" he added. the girl chuckled. "for what? what are you sorry for?" she asked.
"i don't know! but i know you're probably mad about that," he stated. "i'm not mad, why would i be mad about you kissing some other chic?" she questioned.
"you mean nothing to me. in three years, i won't even remember your name," she spat. "so go ahead and have fun with her," she added before walking away.
zabdiel sighed, watching her disappear into the crowd of students.
danna bit her bottom lip as she felt her heart ache. she didn't know what she was feeling, but she does know it hurts like hell.
