"how did that happen?" danna questioned. the girl had calmed down and recollected herself, sitting on the couch with her brother and zabdiel.
"i don't know. but it was definitely him," rita responded. "so what do we do?" danna asked. "call him back?" mateo suggested.
"if that was really papi don't you wanna see him? you miss him too right?" mateo turned to his sister.
"i do, hermanito, trust me i do. but we still need to know how this all suddenly happened, and if it was really papi," danna said to him.
"i don't mean to meddle in the family business but, i think maybe you guys should talk to him. then you'll find out how it all happened and how he's back," zabdiel suggested.
danna and rita exchanged looks, the lady nodding at her. "maybe we should do that," danna shrugged.

it was the next day, and the kids were back in school. danna was sat in class with ester, evaluna and paula.
she let zabdiel tell the boys about what happened while she told the girls.
"wait so your dad is alive?" ester asked, confused as the brunette nodded. "what in the worl- how?" paula asked and she shrugged.
"we're supposed to see him this friday," danna said. "are you okay?" evaluna asked her.
danna kept quiet. she didn't even have the answer to that.
"i don't know. i mean i believed that he's been dead for like 4 years. but there's probably a reason that all this happened," danna said to them.
"it's not easy. i could only imagine how it feels for someone that means the whole world to me to be dead- but turns out they're not," ester said.
"but you missy," paula said pointing to her friend, "you're strong, and i know you can get through this."
"plus we're here for you, always," evaluna added, walking to be next to her friend. "and i know you hate this but.." she said again, opening her arms up to hug her friend.
"ow man," danna chuckled as evaluna wrapped her arms around her tightly. "i hate this but fine," danna sighed but smiled softly, holding her friend's arm that was wrapped around her.
