Dahlia's POV

Tiana and I watched and Rose had a couple of close calls but she managed to injure her opponent Tiana and I for once screamed in utter joy, you see humans can fight just as well as supernaturals I'm so proud. Rose came in and we hugged her jumping up and down when we released her. Tiana said "Good work Rose you did it we can build on this." "Wait your hurt come on wash your hands in the sink I'll get the soap this will sting like hell believe me. I grabbed the bar of soap from the shower I took her towel and walked to the sink her gash was a horizontal slice it's not that deep so it should scab over nicely. I rinsed the bar of soap and Rose winced as she lathered it on her hand and quickly rinsed it off, I gave her the towel and she fisted her hand around it. "Jeepers that hurt worse than getting it." We nodded. Rose and I watched Tiana's fight she was against one gladiator. Tiana's technique was to tire her opponent and then strike so we both had different techniques.
"Wow I don't know if I'd have the stamina to tire them out." I looked over at Rose. "Look Rose you will get stronger and wether you feel the need to end the fight quickly like me or tire your opponent like Tiana you'll know what option is right for you in time. Now let's get back to some training then shower, dinner and sleep." "Sounds like a plan." Rose replied.

Logan's POV

"Darius how she linked to us I mean we didn't do that she did." "I say we ask her mum about what just happened Logan and figure out what these games are and why would she fight Gladiators." I shrugged we ran down to the kitchen to see Alba. "Luna Alba we got good news. News we don't understand." She smiled softly like a mother does "what's up boys." "DAHLIA MIND-LINKED US!" We said together. She beamed "her Phoenix was thinking of you both, her Phoenix was calling out to you even though she hasn't shifted it must of shocked Dahlia to hear both of you her Phoenix made it easier for her to talk to you even though she isn't yet of age." Her Phoenix was wanting us and she knew to lean on the tie to keep the connection. "Was Dahlia in pain doing that?" I asked the question Darius and I were worried about. Alba came up and hugged us both it was strange to us we're not use to the motherly affection. "Ok understand boys it didn't hurt it may have tired her a little but they both in the end wanted it or the connection wouldn't of lasted as long as it did."
Both my brother and I felt both relieved and elated she wanted to talk to us she wanted us. Her Phoenix was truly very powerful considering she's not at full strength until Dahlia shifts. "Amazing" I nodded in agreement "indeed Darius our mate is amazing, now we know what she's been doing for almost three months let's get to the books Luna can you find out from Richard if Jacque has ever said anything of the games or Gladiators." "Yup I'm on it." She immediately left to talk to her brother in-law. "Eric send every book you can find about The Games were young non-shifters fight Gladiators to survive." I mind-linked our chief librarian. "Yes your majesty I'll get right on it and have Donny personally send it to you both in the Mystique West Pack." We cut our link. "Well is Eric on it Logan?" I nodded.
