{4.5 Years Ago}
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Eclispe's P.O.V:
The sun had just risen over Luna 1, my optics were blinded by the light of the new beginning. Seeing this phenomenon is rarer than many other planets, not sure why, but that doesn't change the experience of it.
Then, I heard a childish voice that made me smile even more.
"Eclipse!" I heard.
I turned around to see my younger sister, sitting on her berth with a D-pad in her servos.
"Look what I drew!" she said eagerly as she turned the tablet around so that I could see it.
There was a drawing of me and her, holding servos with huge smiles on our faceplates, the ends of our intakes almost covered our optics. That made me chuckle.
Her art skills weren't the greatest, but drawing made her so happy, so I leave her to it. I know that her skills are improving every single day. She's always wanted to be an artist.
Me, I prefer dancing. Being a Torpedo, I know that many others are afraid of our kind because they asumme we are Decepticons, but that's not the case. That's why I want to dance, to become graceful and light on my pedes, using the warmth of the sun as my guide.
Decepticons could never do that.
Suddenly, the repetitive sound of danger flooded our building, a never-ending alarm. My sister dropped her D-Pad and ran towards me, looking for comfort.
"W-what's going on?" she asked me as I noticed tears in her optics.
I gave her a worried look before noticing something small fall on my helm and onto the floor. It was small, around the size of a pebble.
A piece of metal.
At that moment, I looked up, all I could see were cracks, stretching across the ceiling.
The building was coming down.
I grabbed her servo tightly. "Quick, we need to leave!" I yelled as I ran out of the door, pulling her close behind me.
As we ran down the stairs, the alarms were fading at the sound of the ceiling falling, we had to hurry or else we would get caught up in the rubble.
Once we reached the ground floor, at least a hundred other Mini-cons, both Buzzsaw and Torpedo, we either waiting outside or just leaving.
I finally reached the exit and ran over to my parents and hugged them tight.
"Are you both okay?" I asked them as I pulled away."Yes, we are," my carrier replied, keeping her servos on my shoulder plates. "Where's Moon?"
I gasped after hearing that question. I thought she was right behind me, how could I lose her? There was nothing I could say to my parents with all the fear flowing through my body.
Then, we found our answer.
"Help!" we heard.
Just inside, Moon was lying down on the ground, her leg was pinned down by a pillar that had collapsed. She couldn't move.
The ceiling above her was on the brink of collapsing, and it would crush her of it were to fall. I had only a few seconds to act before it occurred, so I knew that going in there would be suicide.
I had no choice.
Swiftly, I transformed and flew back into the building. I heard my name being called out in desperation by my parents and others. I landed next to Moon who looked up at me in panic.
"What are you doing?! No! You'll get hurt!" she exclaimed as I grabbed the pillar and slowly began to lift it up, but it was far too heavy for me to move by myself, and no one would enter the building again to help me.
I knelt down to her with a plan brewing in my processor. "When I get you out, I need you to run to our parents, no matter what," I told her, knowing that the outcome for me may not be good. "Can you promise me?"
Moon sobbed quietly before looking into my optics with a slow nod. "Y-yes, I promise."
Standing up, I gave her a sad smile before jumping up and transforming, flying towards the entrance. My parents had hopeful looks, assuming I was returning to them.
But I wasn't.
Once I reached the entrance, I flew outside and did a half-turn high in the air before returning inside at full speed. I had never flown this fast before.
Moon crouched down and covered her cranial case with her arms. I managed to collect together all of my speed and fly straight into the pillar, smashing it to pieces.
I immidiently transformed and fell to the ground, my helm was spinning. I managed to watch Moon stand up and run over to our parents. They gave her a hug then looked at me.
Quickly, I shook my helm and managed to get my senses straight, so I slowly stood up.
All of a sudden, the ceiling above me began to collapse entirely. I couldn't make it. I was forced to crouch down and protect myself as the huge chunks of metal began to fall on top of me. I then saw my parents and Moon, all in tears, just before the last of the ceiling fell on me...
A few days later, I began to wake up as I looked around me, but everything was pitch black. I gathered my strength and pushed the metal sheets off of me, assuming that was why I couldn't see. But when I reached the surface, I was wrong.
My joints ached from the collision, and my helm was hurting, I knew I had taken some bad hits in some dangerous places.
I looked around, still unable to see a thing. "Hello?!" I called out in panic, hoping to be heard. "Is anyone there?!" I continued to yell. "Carrier?! Sire?! Moon?!"
Still nothing.
No one could hear me, no one could see me, and I couldn't see them. Luna 1 did have it's dark days, but never like this.
Tears filled my optics as I realised the truth...
I was blind.
