"Is she gone?"

"Yeah, she's gone, let's go."

The door to the apartment opened and two femme Mini-cons walked inside. One was sky blue with gold detailings and the other was black with white detailings, along with a black visor over her lifeless optics.

"So where did she go anyway?" Eclipse asked her friend.

Skybird turned around to face her. "She said she was going to a cube training session."

The Torpedo let out a sigh of relief as she placed her bag down. Skybird raised an optic ridge before opening another door.

Inside, it was quite empty, except for a berth and a desk. There was also a window on the far wall providing light for the whole room.

Skybird moved back and held the door open against the wall, allowing Eclipse to safely enter.

She sighed. "You know you don't need to do all this stuff for me, right?" she asked Skybird in a slightly annoyed tone. "Ever since Luna 1 was rebuilt, I've been getting lessons on how to navigate and combat blind."

The Buzzsaw chuckled. "Sorry, but I thought you were pretty good at combat. I mean, you did save Drift's life that day."

"Yeah, but my aim with my shurikens is scrap. I needed help to improve it," she told her as she pulled out two shurikens and held them in her servos.

Skybird was impressed with Eclispes's style of battle despite her weakness. The fact that she had learned to adapt was amazing.

"Okay, okay, I get it, you're no weakling," the Buzzsaw replied as she rolled her optics. "So, what do you think?"

Eclipse entered the room and placed her servo on the wall, feeling around for where everything was placed. Then she felt the tip of her digits touch something cold, she stopped as it peaked her interests.

"Is this...the window?" she asked her friend.

"Yes, it is," she replied happily.

Eclipse smiled a little as she looked in it's direction, it made her happy for some reason. The Torpedo then managed to find the berth and sat down on it. It was just right for her.

A few seconds later, Skybird entered with her bag, it was quite heavy but being a Buzzsaw, it wasn't too much of a problem.

Eclipse may not enjoy having others help her around, but she was willing to accept that they had good intentions. Especially Skybird, without her, Eclipse would still be living below the old warehouse.

"Hey, why don't you come and stay with Wildstreak and me? We have a spare room."

"Um...are you sure?"

"Of course I'm sure!"

Eclipse and Skybird layed the bag down on the berth then opened it. She didn't really have much, but she was happy with what she had.

The Torpedo pulled out a few shurikens and placed them in a drawer in the desk to keep them safe and away from others. Skybird then reached into her bag when she felt something hard.

She moved a few things to the side before pulling it out. Her optics lit up when she saw what she had grabbed.

It was a picture frame.

With an image inside.

The image was of Eclipse. She wasn't wearing her visor and her optics were light blue, meaning that it was before she lost her sight. Skybird had never seen Eclipse without her visor on, she looked beautiful.

Standing beside her was a younger Mini-con with the same colour scheme as her. The young femme's helm had spikes that came out from the back of it, along with a transparent white mask over her optics. They were blue meaning that her sight was fine.

This caught her attention, she just had to know who it was.

"Hey, Eclipse, who is this?" Skybird asked the Mini-con.

At that moment, Eclipse gasped then turned to face the Buzzsaw, immidiently grabbing the object in her servos. Skybird stumbled back a little.

Eclipse kept her helm low as she spoke. "Skybird, how long have we been friends?"

Skybird thought for the moment before responding. "Three years, five months, two weeks and four days. Why?"

She could tell that Eclipse was shocked by her answer. Surprisingly, she was correct.

"Well...I never told you the truth as to how I lost my sight, did I?" she asked her.

Skybird's optics widened.

"During the invasion, I was caught in an explosion, the Decepticons didn't get me but I haven't been able to see since."

"Y-you, told me briefly, but I assumed there was more, I just didn't want to ask."

The Torpedo sighed.

"The reason I lost my sight...was because I was trying to protect the femme in that photograph."

Skybird gasped as she looked at the Mini-con in the picture, Eclipse was holding it so that she could see it perfectly.

Millions of questions were flowing through her processor. So fast that not even she could answer them.
