CHAPTER 8

"Rufaida please tell me you know I hate long stories"I pleaded.
She said "Yaya Sameem told me to tell you that He despise our relationship,that if he's to let our friendship,then you must change your character,you must respect everyone around you u ,you mustn't behave like a child in his presence. Also he told me to tell You that He hates you and people like you.. she finished as she bursts into tears. I was just looking at her and nodding my head as my face remained the way it was without changing its expression. I said "so why are you crying"?"Are you ready to end our one day friendship"? I asked simultaneously.
"No Sameeha,I know this words will hurt you so much and as u have pride,I know u might end it just to save your self respect" she said.
Smiling at her, I replied "No Rufaida,this hurtful words added my moral and determination to keep u as a friend,this hurtful words gave me more courage to finish this,don't worry we will be together till eternity" I assured her and excused myself.
As I turned to the other side, I saw Rufaida's house car and I smiled and went towards the car. As I was walking towards the car, I brought my feeding bottle that Ummu stocked at the side of my bag which is filled with cold Zobo .
Knock Knock knock
I knocked at d car door and half of the glass was opened for me.
I smiled and asked the person inside whether he's Rufaida's brother and He nodded in assurance.
I then asked "my friend's brother have u been waiting for me?"
He nodded again without looking at my side and that angered me.
I ignored that and said "whether u are deaf and dumb,that won't stop me from telling u that what you requested from me is never going to happen,I know you purposely sent your sister with those hateful words in other to hurt my pride and to trigger me to leave your sister,but congratulations sir,you are mistaken,I'm not like that,you can send her tomorrow with poop to pour on me am still gonna say no to your demands,and for your congratulatory gift,have this as I poured the cold zobo Ummu prepared for us this morning on his white shirt. I couldn't see his reaction because He was wearing a black spec and also a black nose mask around his face. "Hope you will be proud of me"I said as I drank the remaining zobo and smirked,then left him looking like a zombie.
As I turned to go back into the school,I saw Rufaida shaking in disbelief and shocked as she saw what transpired between her brother and I. "Why will u do this to my brother,why why ,why didn't you do this to me,u've ruined his clothes Sameeha and he's to catch a flight by 8:30. She questioned me as she keep crying"I shrugged my shoulders in an I don't care mood and told her He caused it and I entered the school.
Throughout the day Rufaida didn't talk to me and I couldn't care less as He caused it for himself,as for Rufaida,I can make it up with her tomorrow but as for him, I don't care 🤷‍♀️.
