Vivian Longbottom:
I was helping Sandra put her golden wings on to finish up her Snitch costume and Pansy decided against going as Umbridge and just wore a tight black dress and bunny ears. I had decided to dress up as a fairy, and Sandra made me a pair of sparkly wings to match my dress. The girls were ready before me and were excited to go get drunk.
"Hurry up Vivian! We haven't got all day, you know, the fifth years are gonna finish the booze before we even get there!" Pansy badgered.
"Alright alright, don't get your panties in a twist" I laughed, "go on without me, I know where to go and I'll find you guys later. I still have to shower and get ready." The girls left our dormitory and ran off to Hogsmead. I was excited to go to my first party at Hogwarts, but I didn't expect many people to recognize me tonight.
After my shower, I dried my long dark hair and wrapped a towel around my body. I looked into the mirror and focused on my hair. Just like that, my long, dark, and straight hair transformed into a head full of voluminous, pastel purple waves. I gathered the hair into a half ponytail and left a few waves to frame my face. I focused again into the mirror and switched my hazel eyes into light blue ones. I put on a full face of makeup and used a decent amount of bronzer to contour my face. I looked back at the mirror when I was finally done, and I hardly recognized myself. I guess that was half the fun of being a Metamorphmagus.
I slipped into my short glittery silver dress, carefully put on a pair of strappy heels that wrapped around my legs, and put on my fairy wings. I tied a butterfly patterned lace mask around my eyes to further conceal my identity, and sprayed myself with my perfume. I took one last look at myself in the mirror before heading out, and I gotta say, I looked pretty damn good. The dress was held up by two thin straps and it hugged my curves in all the right spots. It had a small slit on the side that showed off my tan legs.
I walked out of my room to find the common room completely deserted. I followed Fred and George's instruction, and I made it to the mirror on the fourth floor and found the entrance to the secret tunnel. It's impressive how well those two knew this school's secrets. I wondered if they knew about the secret entrance to the boat house. I made it down the tunnel and was met with a group also trying to get to the party. I followed them out the tunnel, and across the street to the abandoned building.
I walked into the party and was surprised with the view in front of me. From the outside, the building looked like a small beat up dwelling but the inside was transformed into what looked like a jazz club. It was chilly outside, but the temperature in the room was already intensifying from the heat of the party. The music was blaring, but could not be heard outside of the walls. The lights were dim and the place was crowded with already drunk students. I walked past a group of Hufflepuffs and I caught a guy in a quidditch uniform looking me up and down, so I gave him a smile and a wink. Maybe I would find him later.
I wasn't too concerned with finding Sandra or Neville, or any of my friends really. It was my first Hogwarts party, and I more so wanted to observe the vibe of the party, dance, and get drunk. I walked over to the drinks and Fred, dressed as a devil, was serving drinks.
"Here you are, my fairy princess!" Fred hiccuped, handing me a drink. Clearly, he was already half in the bag. I walked over to a velvet couch in a dark corner and sat down. I had a good view of the party, and had spotted Luna and Neville dancing. Neville already had his tie wrapped around his head. I recognized Belle and Oliver on the opposite side of the party making out against the wall. It didn't take long for me to find Sandra and Pansy dancing, Ron and Casey drinking and laughing, Dean and his friend Seamus were cheering as Harry was attempting to down two drinks at once. I giggled to myself and finished my drink.
All of a sudden, the lights shut off and the music died. Everyone in the room stood frozen and a gang of ghosts burst through the walls, from every direction. I saw a particularly nasty ghost fly in from the roof and sneak up behind a fifth year girl and had her running out of the building, screaming. The ghosts did a lap around the party and scared everyone in their path. Panic quickly ensued and yet no one moved, frozen out of fear. As quickly as they appeared, they disappeared through the floor, leaving the room absolutely silent. The lights came back on and Fred and George started laughing hysterically.
"Aha! You all should've seen the looks on your faces!" George guffawed, hunched over holding onto his twin for support. A sigh of relief was released from nearly everyone in the room, smiles appearing on everyone's faces. I was naive to think a party planned by the Weasly twins wouldn't include a joke or two. The music resumed, and the party atmosphere returned. I looked across the room, and noticed a guy in a hooded cloak and black eye mask looking in my direction. I gave him a smile, and broke eye contact as I made my way to get another drink.
After another drink I was pretty buzzed. "Fucking lightweight" I whispered to myself. I took shots and made small talk with a group of Ravenclaw's, when I decided to grab myself some water. I leaned against a wall, sipping on my water when I felt a cool breath on my neck.
"Enjoying the party?" asked a deep voice from behind me. I bit my lip and nodded my head, only slightly turning my head to recognize the masked man I saw earlier. "Would you like -" started the mystery guy, but I pulled him by the tie and onto the dark dance floor. The alcohol definitely gave me a boost of confidence. Still behind me, I felt him put his hands on my hips and our bodies matched the rhythm of the song. We kept dancing through the next few songs and I could feel the tension between us rising.
He moved the hair off my shoulder, slowly kissing my exposed skin. In response, I rolled my hips into him, and felt him tighten his grip on my hips. He spun me around and placed one hand on my waist and the other on my jaw. I felt cold rings touch my neck and it sent shivers down my spine. His lips close to mine, he had a smirk on his face and I noticed his blue eyes darken. I couldn't take it anymore and I closed the gap between us. I kissed him quickly at first, unsure how he would respond. He moved his hand off my jaw and proceeded to move it down to my neck and reach behind my head to grab my hair. Realizing he needed this as much as I did, I decided to tease him a bit. I slowed down the kiss, and placed both of my hands on his chest. I broke the kiss by lightly biting and pulling his lower lip. I let go of his lip and met his gaze. He closed his eyes and ran his tongue on his teeth, a slight smile forming on his lips.
"Want to get out of here?" he whispered in my ear. His voice sent chills down my spine and butterflies formed in my stomach. I nodded and a soft "yes" escaped my lips. We weaved through the party and darted back towards the castle.
