A small smirk formed on his face. „What can I do for you?" Levi asked Hange who was visibly confused by the atmosphere between me and Levi. „Uhhh...Well-I was gonna ask you for a favour." Hange said and Levis smirk faded away. „A favour?" He asked and raised his eyebrows slightly. My friend just nodded excitedly. I looked at Hange with an awkward expression. I sometimes really am embarrassed by this girl. „So you already know Y/N and I wanted to know if there was a job available for her. She got fired a few months ago because her boss is an asshole and overworked her." Hange lowered her voice and got serious out of nowhere. Levi was unimpressed and didn't reply for a while. „No." He simply said and I bit my lip. „I already knew it's gonna be a no. So why even bother?" I whispered to Hange who wasn't done giving me up yet. Levi turned around and was ready to continue his conversation with someone else when Hange asked him: „And what about a secretary? You are overworked yourself. Y/N already has experience in that position." Levi stopped on his tracks and looked like he was thinking about something. He turned around and had his eyes fixed on me. „For which company did you work?" He asked in a low tone. „The Smith Coop-" I was about to answer when he interrupted.

„You are employed." My eyes widened slightly and I bit my lip again. „W-What...?" I whispered visibly confused by his sudden statement. Hange herself didn't realise what he said. Levi walked back to us and looked at me. „The Smith cooperation is the second biggest company here in this country. Me having his former secretary will look good in the news. You don't like your previous boss, do you?" He asked while raising his eyebrows at me. „God he looks so fucking good..." My inner goddess raved and I shook those thoughts away. „I don't." I whispered. He was so close that I was definitely sure he heard my answer even though the music in the background was playing pretty loudly. „That's great. I'm sure you'll like your present boss more. And for your information: You should stop biting your lip. It distracts me, my secretary." 

 He whispered into my ear with a dangerously low voice and smiled. He turned around and gave a small nod to Hange who was brainfucked. Levi left us and I turned around staring at Hange. „Oh...my...god..." Hange whispered and a smile was gradually forming on her face. „We are gonna be co-workers Y/N." I nodded and seeing her getting happier with every second by caused me to smile too. „I know!" Hange hugged me and I hugged her too. „I said we are gonna be coworkers shorty." I chuckled. „And I said ‚I know' you dumbass."

During the whole night I was so incredibly happy. I believe Hange alone drank two bottles of wine by herself even though I said I was not gonna take care of her if she drinks too much. „YAASS Y/N IS PART OF THE COMPANY HOES!" Jean babbled drunk and giggled afterwards. „Oh my god." I chuckled a little tipsy by myself. Some guests already left so it wasn't too embarrassing with them. „Come on Y/N your glass is already EMPTY!" Eren yelled and grabbed the bottle in order to fill my glass. „Eren you are fucking drunk HAHAH!" I laughed and let him fill my glass. „Eren!" Mikasa warned him and grabbed his sleeve since he probably was the only one who wasn't thinking clear. Eren is a lightweight and he is the type to be wasted after three shots of vodka. Armin, Ymir and I were the only one to be heavyweight but that night I definitely drank too much. In a matter of a few hours I was drunk. My face had a slight blush because of the alcohol. „Y/N are you okay?" Historia asked carefully and I nodded. „Yeah I'm great!" And this time I wasn't lying. For the first time after so many months I finally felt good. „Do you want to catch some fresh air?" Jean asked and I nodded. „That'd be great."

There was a balcony not afar from the mess hall. The night was chilly which was not really surprising since it was already December. „Are you cold?" The guy asked and I nodded. „Yeah a little." I smiled and deeply inhaled the fresh air when I felt something warm around me. I looked up and saw Jean laying his blazer around my shoulders. „You are gonna catch a cold horseface." I giggled and he shook his head. „Not if I do this." He replied and pulled me closer to his body. „Ahh so you are warming yourself up by using my body heat?" I raised an eyebrow while he chuckled. „Yes right." I smiled and just stayed like that. I was comfortable around him and too drunk to do anything. We stayed like that for a while when Jean interrupted the silence. „Listen Y/N...I know we have only known each other for a month or something." I hummed in response and looked up to see him staring down at me. „I wanted to know if you are interested at going out with me." He whispered and I widened my eyes. „Ahh...Jean uhm." He raised his eyebrow at me and I slightly inched away from him in order to face him properly. „Jean I really like you a lot. You are funny and I'm really comfortable around you but I just don't think that I'd go out with you. I can't return you the same feelings you have for me. I'm so sorry."
