Milo sat in the passenger seat of the car with his two seatbelts while Melissa and Zach sat in the back with their own double seatbelt contraptions. They were heading to the airport to pick up Y/n and her mom for Thanksgiving at the Murphy house. As soon as his mom,got in the car, they were off.
Luckily they got to the airport after Y/n's plane had landed so they just had to find eachother. Milo would be lying if he said he hadn't missed her despite it only being about a week. Milo was walking slightly ahead of his mom and friends as he was probably the most excited. That's when he saw her.
"Y/n!" he called out happily. The girl turned at her name, a smile appearing on her face.
"Milo!" She said. The teens ran toward eachother, meetinging in the middle in a tight hug "I missed you so much" Y/n said happily.
"believe me, he missed you more" Melissa said. Y/n giggled as she released from their hug.
"I missed your snarky comments Melissa" Y/n said with a smile, hugging her friend.
"does that make me chop liver?" Zach asked.
"of course not" Y/n said, hugging Zach as well, turning around to see Milo had already gotten her bag. "Oh Milo, you don't have to" She said.
"I know, but I want to" He flashed a smile at her and the group headed back to the car. Things seemed awkward between Y/n and Milo but as their hands lightly brushed against eachother, both of them moved their hands to hold the other. Melissa pointed it out to Zach and the teens snickered, not that Y/n or Milo cared or minded.
After the arrived at the car and drove home, they made it home. Y/n, Milo, Zach, and Melissa jumping out of the car, grabbing Y/n's bag and running up to Milo's room since dinner was still being made.
"Alright, we'll go first in this present exchange" Melissa said "Zach, go" She said. Zach nods, reaching behind him and handing Y/n a box wrapped in silver wrapping paper. Y/n looked at it a moment before taking the paper off, revealing a figure from f/s(fav show). She gasped.
"Zach! I love it!" She said excitedly. "Thank you" She smiled at the boy.
"you're welcome" He smiled, pretty proud of himself.
"My turn!" Melissa said, handing y/n a f/c bag. Y/n looked inside the bag. Inside was a cute outfit with matching earrings (just picture whatever you wanna)
"Aww thanks Melissa, I'll definately wear this" Y/n smiles, looking at Milo. Milo handed her the poster, he didn't wrap it or put it in a bag but Y/n didn't mind. She looked at the tag for a moment before squealing.
"Milo Bear!" She said happily "thank you so much I love it!" Milo smiled.
"one more thing" He said.
"yes?" she asked.
Milo leaned foreward and planted a kiss on her lips. A kiss both teens had waiting a whole week for. He released and sat back in his place on the floor. Y/n smiled, her eyes still closed for a moment.
"that was worth the wait" she said, looking at him.
"Yes, yes it was" Milo smiles at her.
"My turn now" She said. "I also have one thing for each of you" She pulled out a snowglobe. "A snowglobe for Zach to have his own little world without chaos" she pulled out a dog stuffed animal. "A puppy for Melisa" Melissa smiled, taking the stuffed animal. "and finally, for Milo" She pulled out a keychain, a small key hung off of it. She pulled a neacklace out from under her shirt "The only boy with the key to my heart" she handed him the keychain.
"Thank you Y/n!" Thw trio said happily.
"You're so welcome you three" Y/n replied with a smile.
"Kids! It's time to eat!" Milo's mom yelled.
"Coming!" the four yelled back before running.
