I would like to say thanks to TheDonutOfGreatness for giving me the idea for this chapter and another to @ThatWeirdGirl047140 for giving me an idea to use to connect it to the rest of the story(hope you both enjoy how I wrote it). Anyway let's get on with the show-or well horror movie more specifically :/

Bendy's POV

"Bendy if you can hear me please help me!"

That was all I heard before I took off running ignoring Boris's last words as I looked everywhere for Cuphead. I looked for 20 minutes and not a single clue as to where he went...besides the rooms where I saw a bunch of monsters, but there was no way I could fight off all of them or trick them. Heck I doubt I could even run or hide from them for that long so the only choice I had left was to be a monster.

I ripped my shirt making it look like I'd been through some rough times and limped the rest of my way through the halls and it actually tricked some of the more stupid ones but for the real threats, we're going to need a damn good disguise to fool them. Luckily for me I managed to find a horrible smelling mask and prayed that I didn't catch some type of disease from putting it on, I had to force myself not to gag as the putrid smell really hit me(remind me to pour some bleach on my face).

And just like that I gained bits and pieces of a disguise until I managed to look like a passable monster! I then headed back over to the monster infested hallway...let's see who's the real monster in the room *add in cocky smirk and some really cliche suspense/action music*. As soon as I showed up they all turned to look at me, I could hear the cracks in their neck and see blood dripping down parts of their body, I thought I'd been caught but they slowly turned back around and I limped my way past them holding my breath and forcing myself not to shiver whenever I touched something soft or heard a squelching noise.

I got about halfway through the hallway acting like one of them until ice cold hands were placed on each of my shoulders in a vice grip. When I looked to see what it was I nearly screamed as I saw the twins from earlier, they had a raspy yet innocent voice as they asked "Play...with...us?" I didn't know what to do so all I did in response was growl. Apparently they didn't like that answer since they started shrieking and it took a highly concious effort to not cover my ears and instead growled louder.

It was like a battle, except whoever was the loudest survived. However they just kept on getting louder and louder until I was sure my ears were bleeding so I decided to let out this unearthly yowl and put my arms up as if I'm about to attack them. After that they were silent until they said "No...play." and walked away, all the other monsters seemed to stay away from me too until I was once again stopped.

(Slight horror warning here)

Oh come on this is like a multi-stage battle! I just got done dealing with one and now I have to deal with another!? Oh whatever I might as well get this over with, so with an internal sigh I turned around to see a new monster that was quite small. I was incredibly confused until it split its face into two revealing rows and rows of teeth dripping with who knows what. I took a step back because I was disturbed but that only seemed to make the other monsters around get more confident and take a step forward, the tiny creature also took a step forward.

A show of dominance is how it works around here. Alright two can play at that game, I opened started to smile revealing sharp teeth that made all the monsters take a step back. I groaned and opened my mouth as if about to take a bite out of thin air but the creature only groaned back and I couldn't tell if it wanted to be friends or if it just wanted to eat me for lunch. I growled and opened my mouth wider thankful that I'm made of ink and then towered over the creature.

(Horror warning over)

It made a slightly alarmed noise that I didn't even know was possible and then ran away into the darkness, I guess showing weakness means death because not even a second later it made a pained groan and then it was silent. I shook it off and continued on my way preparing myself for another monster encounter but surprisingly none came as I made it to the end of the hallway and saw a single door waiting there.

I limped towards it still keeping my appearance of a monster and opened it only to see no one inside, I went in and closed it behind me hoping that it didn't lock. The only thing in the room was a bed that was surprisingly clean, it was about five seconds later that I heard a whimper, in response I groaned and the whimper got louder and I heard a shuffling from under the bed so I got down and looked under to see Cuphead curled up in a ball looking terrified.

What made it worse was that he started tearing up when he saw me and I grabbed him and pulled him from under the bed no matter how much he begged me not to. I whispered "Cuphead? It's me Bendy. I'm wearing a disguise, it was the only way to get through the monster infected hallway. He froze and then buried his face into my chest saying "Oh thank god, I was so scared I ran right past all of them and locked myself in the room because I couldn't go back out there!"

I hummed and whispered comforting words to him until we heard the door open. Which would have been fine if Cuphead had been under the bed hidden away but he was out from under the bed and hugging me right in front of the screaming girl that wanted her eyes. I made all the noises I could to get her to back off but nothing worked and I could tell that Cuphead was getting nervous.

Neither of us were sure if she would move until it was too late, she lunged at me and tackled me to the ground trying to gouge out my eyes with her bloody claws. The struggle lasted for 5 minutes and I was on the losing side until a blue ball of magic hit her in the side making her hit the wall and knock her out. I looked over to my right to see Cuphead shaking and holding his hand out like a gun and using the other to steady it.

I quickly grabbed him and carried him out the room drawing the attention of the monsters in the hallway. I took off running whispering to Cuphead go keep his head buried in my chest and that I would protect him. There was a not so distance screeching heard from behind us and I ran all over the place until I saw a door that said [Exit] and now normally I wouldn't trust a seemingly innocent sign after all the stuff we went through but I had no time to hesitate as I opened the door and slammed it shut behind us feeling several thumps against it.

Me and Cuphead both signed and relaxed once it stopped and then took a moment to take in our surroundings. We had to do a double-take when we saw that we were in the actual break room with Mr.Dice and the Decil sitting there chatting and drinking some random alcohol. It took them a second to notice but once they did they saw Cuphead's scared, tear-streaked face and saw that he was shaking and then saw me looking like a monster and incredibly disturbed.

All I did was sigh and ask "Are you able to put Mugman and Boris in there? I think they need a taste of their own medicine after the hell we've been through. " Devil nodded and snapped his fingers then Cuphead said "If you're able to, get rid of the clowns and replace them with spiders and replace the twins with some random horror movie killer. I won't be coming to work for the rest of the week." The Devil snapped again and then made an alarmed sound "Hey but I gave you that picture as a promise that you'd come into work without complaint tomorrow!"

All Cuphead did in response whine and tear up as he slumped to the floor. Dice then spoke up "Um maybe we should allow him the week off Boss. Poor kids look like they've been through hell and back." Devil sighed and agreed to those terms after staring at them for another minute. Me and Cuphead quickly left the building and to his house to relax.
