Getting along

Amelia's POV

It's been 3 hours after I gave birth and everyone has finally arrived to see my little Scorpius. "He's so adorable." Hermione said "Congratulations Malfoy! He's so much like you." Harry said. "Aww he has Amelia's nose, Draco's hair and Amelia's eyes." Molly said. "He is so much like you both." Dad said. "When will you be back home?" Ginny asked "Doctor said Lia and Scorpius are alright tomorrow morning we'll be leaving." Draco said. Many baby gifts are on the table and I smile eating some bread while Draco hold the baby. "I'm so happy for the both of you." Arthur said. "Draco can I hold him?" Blaise asked Draco then give him the baby. Pansy just stands at the corner of the room. "Come on Pansy. You're still mad? Look I love her and I love my son can't you be happy for me?" Draco said to Pansy. But she's just roll her eyes. A nurse walk in and said visiting hours are over. We all said goodbye and leave just me, Draco and our son, Scorpius.

*Next morning*

I swaddled Scorpius nice and warm and wait for Draco to finish pack our clothes. A nurse came in with a wheelchair. "Miss Blooms, Mr Malfoy are you ready to go? I can push you to the car." She said. "Yes we're all ready." I said to her. Then we saw my dad waiting in the car.

"Thank you Calvin." Draco said to him. "Now take care now you two. And bye bye Scorpius see you on Saturday." He said to his grandson on Draco's arm. As we arrive in our apartment, our neighbors look at our son and are so happy with us. After they left for us to rest Draco suddenly frowned. "Draco? Something wrong?" He looked at me "Darling, I don't want to argue with you but.. I don't want to leave you alone when I go to work. I want someone to stay here with you while I'm gone." Draco said while not making eye contact with me. He just looks at Scorpius sleeping. "Well if it's only for a week or 2 than it's okay." I said to him holding his shoulder. "No I meant like you know, maybe until he's 2 or 3." He said "What? I'm not a child Draco? What makes you think I should be taken care for that long?" I asked him "Please darling I don't want to fight. The day you have to give birth, I was scared. You were in pain and alone. I don't want it to happen again. So I need someone to take care of you and Scorpius." He said begging for agreeing with him. "I know it's scary but I'm alright now." I said to him but he keeps frowning. "Fine. I'll let myself and Scorpius be taken care but when I said I'm ready to be left alone with our son, you have to respect my choice." I said to him clearly. "Alright but it can't be less then 1 month please." He said looking at me hopefully. "Sure love." I lean in kissing him. His warm and soft lips taste so good. It just melt my body making my heart skip. He's just amazing. "My mother will be taking care of you and Scorpius." He said so fast but clearly I heard. "Your mother?!" I asked him surprised. "My father as well wanted to be here." I am more surprised that the man who wants to kill me is going to TAKE CARE of me and my child. "ARE YOU DRUNK OR SOMETHING DRACO MALFOY?!" I asked him and get up the couch storm in the bedroom having anxiety what's going to happen when Lucious be here. "Darling-" he opens the door but I push him out. "I need to be alone! I don't want to yell at you anymore. Just stay out." I said to him. "Darling please.. I'm sorry I didn't tell sooner. Please open up." He begged. "Leave me alone!" I said to him. "Darling don't make me push this door." He said. Then he really did push hard to get in. "Why can't you understand of let me be alone? I can't believe you do realise your father wants me dead! What do you think will happen to Scorpius how could you not remember that?" I said to him I try to run out the room but he stands at the doorway not letting me out. Then he push me on the wall and pinned me. "DARLING PLEASE! I'm sorry. Really am. I want to tell you but I don't want to spoil our son's birth. Please I'm sorry I swear once they arrive I'll make sure their wands won't be raise on you or our baby. Will that make you feel better?" He said crying. "Fine. I'll take that. Don't cry love." I said to him wiping his tears away.

*Next day*

Draco's POV

The doorbell rang "That must be your parents." Amelia said. I get ready to see them. I open the door and my mother quickly hug me. "DRACO!" She said "Hi mother!" I welcome her. Then my father behind her didn't smile but instead just shakes my hand and pat my bag. "How are you doing Draco?" He asked "I'm alright." Then my mother walk in hug Amelia. "You have a lovely home here. How are you Amelia?" She asked her "Thank you but call me Lia. I'm doing just fine. How's the trip Mrs Malfoy?" Amelia asked her. "Please call me Narcissa dear." My mother smiles welcoming and accept the women I love. "Trip is fine. Call me Mr Malfoy Miss Blooms don't call by my first name." Father said so coldly. Amelia just smiles and shakes his hand. "Draco, Lia, where's he?" Mother's excited. "Darling go grab our son." I tell her. "Mother, father, give me your wands please." Then they both looks at me. "What? Last time you met her, you wanted her dead. To gain your trust and if you want to stay here taking care of Lia and my son, please give me your wands." I ordered them. My mother obey and give her my wand. I wait for my father he hand it in but I know he's not please.
"Here he is." Lia walk out of the baby room with Scorpius. "Oh my goodness he looks almost like Draco when he's a baby." My mother said while holding him. "Did he cry a lot?" She asked "Not much he just a quiet one." Lia said. "Well Draco used to cry all the time. Me and Lucious rarely get sleep." My mother said making me embarrassed when Lia just looks at me laughing. "What's it's name?" My father asked. "He father. It's he not it." I said to him "His name is Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy." I said to him. "Let me show you the bedroom you'll be staying Mr Malfoy." Amelia said to him nervously. "Excuse me, you know my luggage are here." He said to her. "Let me father. She is not a maid." I said to him sternly. I walk behind Amelia.

"I hope you are okay with the bedroom." Amelia said. "Yes yes it's fine." I told Amelia to get along with mother while I talk to father. "Father while you're here, I need you do not treat Lia like a maid. Not all women should be treated like that. I need you to respect her." He looks at me "Why would I do that?" "We're not in the manor, we're in my home. In my home you follow my way. Do not argue with me father. Remember we're in the muggle world not your world. So respect her and treat her well not like a servant." I said to him. He backs away and nod.

*Next day*

"Darling smells good." I said to her while heading to the sink cleaning some dishes. "Morning mother, father." I greet them while they were sitting at the dining drinking some tea.

After eating and talking about Amelia's family and my work I heard Scorpius crying. "I'll get him darling." I said to Amelia who almost get up. "Thank you love." She said to me. I carry Scorpius to the dinning table and giving him to my father since he rarely holds him. "I want you both to get along with your grandson please." I said to them my mother nod and my father just looks at the baby. "I got to go now Darling. Take care now." I said to her "Okay now be careful out there. Say hi to my parents for me." She said kissing me "I love you." I said to her. "I love you too dear. Be safe." She said to me. I kiss little Scorpius goodbye before leaving.
