"Arianna!" I turned around and gave my best friend one last hug. "Ugghh," I'm gonna miss you so much," she stated as we gave each other a hug. "I'm gonna miss you too Jamie," I replied.
We pulled away, I looked at my empty locker and looked back at her. "Best friends forever," I spoke and she smiled with a nodd. "You have to call me everyday and tell me everything, and I'll do the same about down here," she spoke. "I will," I smiled as I looked back at my empty locker again, it wasn't really empty, there was some old school work in there, I grabbed it and a picture fell out of the pile I had in my hand.
Jamie picked it up and looked at it then she looked at me, "you kept it?" She asked me. "I looked at the picture and it was a picture of me and my ex Rome from our freshman year, but he left in the middle of the year and moved away. I haven't heard from him since then.
Jamie took the picture away from me and threw it away. "I'm sorry, but you haven't heard from him in 4 whole years, its senior year, he left freshman year and never said a word to you. Leave him in the past babe," Jamie explained.
"I guess you're right," I stated. "Of course I am. You're going to be at a new school and I'm sure you're going to meet someone new. It sucks that we won't graduate together though," Jamie added. "I know..." "lets go Arianna," I heard my mom say, Jamie gave me one more last hug, then I walked away and left with my mom.
Two days later
Last night we made it to LA, got some of our stuff in our new home. Nothing is really unpacked yet, but whatever. I sat up in my bed and looked out my window, I got out of bed to get a closer look and it was very beautiful out this morning, I smiled, turned around and went to the bathroom to do my hygiene routine.
30 minutes
I left my room and headed to the kitchen and met up with my mom, she was sitting at the island on her laptop. "Good Morning Arianna," she spoke, "good morning mom," I replied. She looked away from her laptop and looked at me. "Your car made it in, so you can drive yourself to school, I'll send you the address to the new school, and also I wanted to check and make sure if you are going to prom this year?" She asked.
"You don't have to if you don't want to, I'm not going to force that on you," she added. "I don't know, but I will let you know," I told her and she smiled. "Did you apply for any colleges as well?" She also asked. "Yes and a few modeling agencies for just incase," I replied. "Do you know what time I'm supposed to be at school?" I asked. "No, but you can be fashionably late," she laughed and I did too. "Ok, I'll see you later on today, love you mom," I spoke as I gave her a kiss on the cheek, grabbed one of her bagels and walked out.
