"Why am I changing? My inside and outside are both changing. I'm being colored now."

-

The sidewalk was strangely pretty empty today, it was normally filled with multiple people with bright smiles. It didn't help that it was about to rain or that we were in an... interesting situation. Chan led us since we hadn't been to his place in what felt like forever. I looked back at Jeongin who still looked anxious as ever. "Jeongin, you okay?"

He glanced at me, "Yeah, it's just that I keep feeling this sort of anxiousness and I don't know why." I looked at him sympathetically and began jumping a little, hoping to boost him up a little. Jeongin smiled again, but it didn't feel genuine this time. I slowed down and so did Chan.

"Jeongin, seriously, what's wrong?" He looked just as pale as he did earlier today. "JEONGIN!" He then suddenly began coughing out of nowhere. I backed up and looked at Chan who was just as concerned as I was. He's the youngest of our friend group, so we were terrified for him.

He slowed down, thank goodness. "Holy shit, are you okay, Jeongin?" Chan asked.

"Yeah.." He answered hoarsely.

"There's something on your lips.." I wiped the strange color off his lips. It was an orange color with a paint-like texture.

"Why did anything come out of your mouth in the first place?"

"I have no clue, but it tasted disgusting, like a rotten apple."

"Not like metal?" I uttered confused.

Jeongin shook his head no before putting his focus on Chan.

"And we're here!" He made a cute pose pointing towards his house. It wasn't anything too special, just a beautiful two story house with a white design with some bricks here and there.

We walked in and were in utter awe (at least me and Jeongin were). The house looked like a downsized mansion inside and out. We saw paintings everywhere we looked and stunning decor. "I forgot how amazing your house is, Chan." I remarked. Chan and Jeongin both nodded. We were getting a bit side tracked though. I made a little gasp, "So where's Felix?"

"Most likely back in his room playing Among Us or doing something dumb." We walked up the stairs, following wherever Chan went. Chan knocked on a door, which I assumed was Felix's.

"Who?"

Chan opened the door to which we found a Felix laying on his bed, with his phone in hand. "Felix!"

"Channie-hyung!" Felix lit up instantly.

"Guess who I brought!" Chan gave a grin before me and Jeongin revealed ourselves. Felix lit up even more. Me and Jeongin rarely saw Felix anymore so this was an amazing surprise. I hadn't seen him since beginning of freshman year, so I was shocked to see how much he changed visually. His cheeks weren't as distinguishable anymore and had more sharper features. He also had silver hair now that made him stand out even more. I'm glad his precious smile never changed though.

Felix cupped his mouth and ran his way towards us, hugging us both once he got close enough. Jeongin giggled; I had the hugest grin on my face while laughing. I got a bit of a sudden headache but ignored it, I couldn't ruin this moment.

Felix let go after at least a minute and backed up, still smiling widely. I finally got a moment to take a look at Felix's eyes. I could understand what Chan was saying now. It wasn't feature changes, but more of what it felt like. My smile faltered until I was just staring at him. I instantly felt a rush of sudden urgency and anxiety.
