...I looked at him in pure anxiety.
He clenched his head, clearly wanting to cry.
What was going on?
"Jisung!" I called out. "Look at me!"
The terrified boy looked at me slowly, breathing heavily.
"It's going to be okay! You can do this!"
He shook his head.
My heart pounded so hard, it felt like it could burst any minute.
I walked towards him, to which he just stared at me in terror.
He couldn't hold it in any longer.
All of his tears poured out like a raging waterfall.
He gripped his stomach, crying more and more.
I opened my shaky hand for him to hold.
"Get away." He told with what his dry throat could manage.
He tried to calm himself down, which instantly failed.
"Jisung..."
"Please." He pleaded.
I looked into his shaking eyes.
I couldn't help but feel sorry for him, for all that he's been through.
He didn't deserve to be the victim.
I did."Seungmin!"
Huh?
"SEUNGMIN!"
I screamed as I woke up in a cold sweat.
"Get up, you're going to be late for school. You know how much I hate it whenever you oversleep." My sister reminded me.
"Yeah.." I sighed audibly. "I'll be ready soon." My sister smiled at me and headed downstairs, already on another call with a friend. I flashed a quick smile back and got off my decently folded bed. I put on a simple sweatshirt with red flame design and black ripped jeans. I didn't want to go extremely extravagant for obvious reasons, so I only put on a simple necklace and that was it. I finished up the rest of my routine and tied my usual black converse. My sister yelled my name once again. I got off of my chair and jumped a little before making my way downstairs.
My sister was nowhere to be found whenever I made it to the living room. I looked around (to make sure I'm not making a fool out of myself) and figured she was already in her car waiting for me. I rushed out the door, knowing my sister didn't want to wait much longer. I jumped in the passenger seat and instantly smiled. The harsh drums from Day6's Sweet Chaos made me bop my head with a huge beam on my face. My sister giggled and joined me as she drove.
"Hey Seungmin?" My sister suddenly asked.
"Yeah?"
"Why have you been yelling once you wake up again? It's starting to concern me."
It took me a second to think of something to say."I've been getting strange dreams again. Every night they're my friends, but.. they're so horrid. Each one has been related to some sort of deadly sin, I think." She looked at me and sympathized before looking back at a now green light. I looked back at her and continued, "Last night's was Jisung. He was crying and it honestly terrified me.. I've never seen him like that before. I hope it's just dream.."
My sister nodded before replying, "I'm sure it is. It would be insane if something like that happened in real life." I glanced at her before going back to just staring at my window.
We made it fairly quick to our school. My sister parked her car in her usual spot and got out. I joined her soon after. Me and her both had first period in the same hall, so we talked about multiple things before having to inevitably break off. I unlocked my locker and placed my insanely heavy backpack in it, only leaving a few things out before closing it back up.
I held my remaining books and binder as I entered the small classroom. I placed my items on my assigned desk where I found Jeongin, my best friend.
"Hey Seungmin!" Jeongin said with his adorable smile.
"Hey Jeongin!"
"So, what'd you dream about this time? Who?" He asked, wonder in his eyes.
I looked at my aisle in front of me to see if he had made it to class yet before replying. A sigh of relief was let out once I noticed his seat was empty. "It was Jisung this time. He was really anxious and he began crying." Jeongin's jaw dropped. "The only thing I vividly remember was whenever he began coughing something purple mixed with blood." Jeongin's jaw dropped even more. "Yeah, it.. was concerning. He cried to me so much but he just wouldn't let me comfort him, I don't know why."
"Oh wow.." Jeongin said with astonishment, his hand now covering his mouth.
I nodded, "Yeah, I-"
"What are you guys talking about now?" It was Jisung.
"Oh we were just talking... about Day6!" I lied. I could tell Jisung could see right through me. It was clear I wasn't that great at lying.
"Hey, I know you're lying!" He chuckled, "What were you guys talking about?" Jisung smiled and looked at Jeongin then back at me. I was about to reply before the teacher cut off my words. I sighed and laid my hand on my cheek.
Can't wait to go home.
