The strange thing is, the cat got run over this afternoon.
Bertha told me this morning that would happen!!
But she's not the one who did it.
She went out and picked it up off the street and found a neighbor boy to bury it in the back. The ground's too hard for an old lady to be digging in with a rusty shovel. I think the ground is frozen.Nothing should die in the winter in Indiana. Things should have the decency to wait for the thaw.
I'm going to really miss that cat. It's almost all I had. I'm dripping again.
