Ronald came by today and stayed for tea. We talked about the stock market.
Not that I ever cared that much. I know very well what's behind gambling: loaded dice and the man standing at the table who hits your hand with a crooked stick if you start wondering what's going on and reach to pick up a die to look at it.
But Ronald gave me something to think about. Maybe I should invest, after all.
Bertha has strong ideas about my money. She told Ronald something, whispering in the kitchen, and it sounded like something to do with Power of Attorney and Guardian. But I don't know.
I think she really does want control of my finances.
It sounded like she was putting down Gracie. Like she didn't think that if someone takes charge of my funds, it should be her! gall. I should fire that witch. I should do.
