"What is it?" asked Jim.

"It's your father, Jim," I said.

"No, it couldn't be," he said.

"It could, my boy," said Ethan Jones.

"How are you even alive?" Jim asked.

"This maze created by Zeus keep me here during our second mission," he said.

"They said you died during the mission," Jim said.

"That was to make Steve think we were dead," Ethan replied.

"That was the plan?" asked Jim.

"Yes, it was," Ethan replied.

"The plan to kick Steve out of the mayor position," I said.

"Well said, Mike," he said.

"How's your parents, Mike," he asked.

"Deceased," I said.

"I'm sorry," he said.

"It's okay."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Now, how do we get out?" asked Jack.

"This is another dimension," Ethan said.

"Oh," said Jack.

"I could teleport us out of here," I said.

"Good thinking let me fix your teleportation," Ethan said.

Ethan went into the computer room and typed something on his keyboard. I looked at my teleporter and it was green.

"Ethan, come with us," I said.

"No, until the time comes, I will come," he said.

"Ok," I said as I gave him a copy of my teleporter to him.

"Keep Jim safe, Mike," Ethan said.

"You can count on me," I said.

"How about his mother?" I asked.

"Still alive, at his home," he said. "She knows."

"Okay," I said.

"They all know the truth," he said suddenly.

"Thank you for answering my thoughts," I said.

"Oh, yeah. The lightning bolt is on Earth," he said.

I turned to my teammates and said, "Okay, guys. Let us retrieve the lightning bolt on Earth.

I teleported my friends and I to Earth.

We appeared in a park. This is not the same park we were. This park is near the Flatiron Building.

"Oh, there you are!" said Ivy emerging from the trees.

"I thought she was with us?" asked Valentina.

"The teleportation only transported us except Ivy," I said.

"Yeah, I thought I have to walk back home. A few minutes later, you guys came out of nowhere in this park," she said.

"A few minutes?!" shouted Jim.

"Yeah, no kidding," I said looking at my watch. "The dimension's time is slower than Earth's time."

"Thank you for the explanation," said Sarah.

"Now, where is the lightning bolt?" asked Jack.

"Must be somewhere here," said Valentina.

I flickered my scanners scanning for lightning signatures. Everything seems clear.

"You know what, let's walk around the city," I said as I transform my bag into my car and sped off. They followed me towards New York City. We went into the city and found it isolated. Hmmm, strange. There was a lot of people the last time I came here. There were no scratch marks on the buildings. All was well but something is fishy about this isolated place. I got out of my car and my friends did the same. My car became a backpack again. I sling it onto my back. I walked around the district. Something caught my eye. I quickly glanced toward my left and found a person. He was shivering of fear. No, I did not read his mind, it was his action. I walked towards him and asked him.

"Hey, there. May I ask you what happened here?" I asked.

He nodded and said, "Th-the monster."

"What monster?" I asked.

"What it called itself, a Shnak," he said.

"Oh, no," I said.

"Hey, Mike. There are burn marks of lightning around this area!" Valentina shouted.

"Noted!" I shouted back.

I turned to him and tried to read his mind, but I cannot. Oh no, that only means one thing. Monostrukal. This guy is a Shnak.

Suddenly, he grinned, "Hello, Mike. Your attack was not effective enough last time. I'll make sure I'll end you this time."

I jumped back and my armor covered my whole body including my face.

"As you can see, your Shadow stuff can't do anything to me," he said.

"We are the risen Shnak that will bring the Shnaks to earth and evade it into our planet like we did centuries ago," he said laughing.

This is going to get bumpy. My dracyo sword formed on my hands and I charged Liam McKinley.
