MANDISA

The weekend was great and all thanks to Musa because I was sure going to be buried with work. It's my period break and I get a call from some guy saying he has delivery for me well I just wonder. I go to the gate and this guy has a bouquet of daisies in a vase and some nicely wrapped hamper.
I smile, this is really thoughtful of Mpho to do honestly considering that we fight always. I thank the guy and go to my car. I immediately call Jen.

Jen: you are lucky cause my class starts in a few.
My friend and not greeting.
Mandisa: well hello to you too friend. I am good you know and my weekend was great how are you.
She laughs.

Jen: I am good my friend.
Mandisa: well that's how a conversation starts my friend. Mxm you even killed my vibe.
Jen: oh no friend please come with the zindaba.
Ha-ha this friend of mine and izindaba.
Mandisa: well guess what Mpho sent me.
Jen: a lingerie.
I laugh mxm this one is crazy and I won't even engage much
Mandisa: well no. its daisies in a vase, chocolates, biltong and a gift card my friend.
Jen: oh my word friend what does the card say. Well I am forward.
She squeals in excitement.
Oh the card I didn't even read to see what he wrote on it. I just hope its some apology.
Mandisa: talking about that I haven't opened it. Let me read what it says.
Oh my word I am so disappointed really why did I even think it would be Mpho mxm.

Jen: friend, are you still there
Mandisa: yeah I am and to say I am disappointed is an understament. It's not from him friend
Jen: ahh nana askies atleast someone appreciates you isn't that something to be grateful for.
Mandisa: yeah it is.
Jen now cheer up and call your secret admirer to say thank you.
Yeah my friend is right. I need to be grateful so I am just going to call Musa and thank him. His phone rings twice and he answers.
Musa: Miss Makhanya
I blush at how he calls me. they always say men love when they are addressed with their surname but this guy makes me enjoy him calling me with mine
Mandisa: you know you didn't have to do that Bab' Dladla.
Musa: Believe me I had to and I wanted to. I hope you are not allergic to anything I got you.
Allergic??? Not me.
Mandisa: not at all, thank you very much this really brightens up my day.

I giggle.
Musa: it's a pleasure and my sorry for the water incident.
Mandisa: oh but it was over that day.
Musa: I still had to make it up for it and I am not done.
Mandisa: oh okay then.
Musa: are you okay
Mandisa: I am coping and you, did your friend fetch you in time
Musa: I am good and yeah my twin did fetch me in time at least he was not late this time around
Mandisa: that's great, hey I called to say thank you. I have to go. Bye
I hang up and leave my car to the staff room. I can't stop smiling.

MUSA

I love people who are appreciative. I really feel like Mandisa is going to be my weakness. I mean this girl calls and my heart is beating hard, she smiles I melt and her giggle takes me to cloud 100. Well I am in my ow fantasy until this idiot hit my shoulder.
Musa: ouch what was that for man
Inkosi: am I your chauffeur nawungi bhekile? (when you look at me)
Musa: mxm don't fucken dare me bafo you know you are never on time.
I laugh out and he just chuckles
Inkosi: next time your "girl-friend" will have to fetch you
He says your girl-friend dramatically with his fingers.

Musa: I don't think she would mind in that matter.
Inkosi: oh then he finally agrees to her being girl-friend
I laugh honestly my twin beats me into things.
Musa: well yeah because she's a girl and am her friend so its girl-friend
Inkosi: okay smarty pants
We continue talking about whatever and how we were going to handle that snitch. We get home, get out of the car and knock until mom said we should come in.
Mama: sukela nini nikokoda nina. (since when do you knock)

Well we planned it. We nownally don't knock.
Inkosi: hi mom it's good to see you too and we are well and how are you.
Mama: well I don't want to know how you are
We laugh.
Musa: mma I got you this.
I say giving her the box of chocolate and the vase that had tulips. She smiles wide.
Mma: thank you fana. And you are still not forgiven
She's still mad about yesterday.
Musa: mma come on I am sorry I completely forgot about the appointment and this is my sorry.
Mma: hhay ke kusazomele ucolise ke mfana wami. (Then you still have to apologize)
