The group continued on their way through downtown, wearily keeping an eye on the dark alleyways and abandoned buildings surrounding them.

It should be around 9am by now, considering the group left around 6am and their earlier quarrel, and everyone was on edge. Nobody spoke as even the slightest sound sent everyone into a slight panic.

As the group rounded a main street corner, Ayano quickly studied the area, noticing that they were now near one of the shopping malls in this district. Seeing this as an opportunity to up on supplies, Ayano turned and spoke in a semi hushed voice so everyone would hear her.

"This is 3rd street and it leads straight to Palmvale mall. We should up on a small amount of supplies to last us the day such as water and food. I know we have some but its always good to have more." She spoke quickly and everyone seemed on board.

"wait- but thats one of the most popular malls in downtown. dont you think there will be those... things everywhere? theyll litter the place!" Donghyuck protested, giving good reason however Ayano thought only for a second before shaking her head.

"It might be, but as we've seen, in the day they are nothing more than slow walkers like we've seen in early Walking Dead episodes. If the place is littered, all we have to do is try our absolute best not to make a sound." She said. The group stood still for a second awaiting Hyucks response. He hesitantly nodded.

"Okay. Let's go. We cant stay there for long so we should hit the stores in a quick and swift manner." Donghyuck finally spoke earning nods from the group.

The group walked to the mall and stood still in motion as they looked at the large building. Already, a group of about 20 blights swayed with the wind at the entrance of the mall closest to one of the large chain stores. 

"shit..." Johnny muttered under his breath through gritted teeth. Ayanos eyes widened. If it hadn't been for their current situation and she heard that....

"Let's do this." her voice just barely above a whisper as they drew closer.

With mere centimeters between them and the still blights, the groups collective anxiety grew to a peak as they narrowly twisted to avoid bumping into the undead people as they made their way into the mall.

They were able to pass successfully, and ghe group all together let out a small undetectable sigh of relief though it didnt last long as the mall was basically horded with blights on standstill.

Anyone here know sign language?

Ayano signed quickly as she turned to the group. Renjun, Jaemin, Mark, Johnny, Jungwoo and Jeno all nodded. The others understood she was signing but didnt know what she was saying specifically.

Okay, heres the plan. Renjun, Jaemin and Jeno, you guys take Jisung, Chenle and Donghyuck go get food and water. Mark, Johnny, Jungwoo grab Doyoung and we will go get clothes and other necessities like gear. We meet up right here in an hour max. Be safe.

Ayano signed clearly and quickly and the 6 boys understood her, turning and quickly grabbing the boys they needed to grab and relay the information tk them quietly.

Everyone seemed to soon catch onto what she said and split into the 2 groups. The group that Jeno, Renjun and Jaemin led left first as the store they could get those items was just a couple steps away. The stores that Ayanos group was leading had to go up to the 2nd floor.

That could pose a problem in the future if something happens and they get stuck up there but that would have to be a problem for later because they needed the clothes qnd gear.

Upstairs were the majority of clothing stores as well as some shops that carried hunting gear (an everything type mall). Ayanos group had to take the wheelchair access walkways to get up because doyoung on stairs was very iffy still. There were still blights upstairs but the majority were downstairs, making it easier to move around without bumping into them every 2 seconds.

They entered the first clothing store, which catered mainly to the male physique, and begun to grab clothes that seemed to fit the boys in this group and the other group. They didnt grab too much. a shirt and a pair of pants as well as a couple belts for everyone. They stuffed all this stuff into johnnys nesrly empty backpack before leaving.

Jungwoo and Mark walked in close proximity to Ayano as she walked behind Johnny and Doyoung making sure Doyoung wouldn't put too much pressure on his still healing ankle.

Mark looked up and saw they were about to pass a store that catered to the physique of a female body and tapped ayano on the shoulder. He pointed to the store and she thanked him with a light head bow and a pat on the cheek. She quickly informed the other 2 men in front of her where she was going and they agreed to let her go as long as at last 2 of them follow her.

Johnny stayed with Doyoung outside while Jungwoo and Mark followed Ayano around the small messy store. The lights were still on and operating but the store itself was messy. Clothes were littered everywhere and broken glass from the window at the front of the store scattered on the ground.

The small group was careful not to step on the glass before actually wandering the store. Ayano quickly grabbed 2 large tee shirts and 2 pairs of pants and a belt, stuffing them into her bag. Upon leaving, she grabbed an umbrella that had been mounted on the wall and put it in her bag before synching it back up.

The 3 made their way back out and stood next to Johnny and Doyoung who looked beyond spooked.

Ayano tapped Johnny and begun to sign.

What happened?

Johnny sighed shakily and signed back.

One of the blights is walking around. It looked to be a mother walking around with a stroller but again, shes a blight. It was something straight out of a zombie movie. Downstairs.

He said, Doyoung nodded and the 3 who didnt witness the event were stunned.

What is this? the walking dead???

Mark lightly joked but was pretty much serious. Ayano shook her head, a light smile on her face before she returned to a serious manner.

If that blight is down stairs, we have to let the others know. Thats the main group of teenagers. They'll freak out if they saw that woman.

Jungwoo signed, basically summing up what Ayano was about too. Everyone nodded and made their way downstairs however they recognized one of the gear shops as they made their way down.

Johnny, Doyoung, you guys go get some gear. If you want mark or Jungwoo to join you be my guest i want to go tell the others about this lady.

Ayanos hands and motions were clear as the pair read and nodded. They shook their hands and stated theyll be the 2 to go and the 3 can go warn the others.
