As I lay in bed tuning in to the free rain sounds from nature, I can't help but to sigh. I was supposed to go to the pottery shop after school ended but the rain only got heavier.

It's pouring outside and there was no way I could have stayed dry out there even with an umbrella to protect me.

I wonder what Hoseok is doing?

My eyes widen and I slap my cheeks lightly. What am I thinking? I'm definitely not curious about Hoseok and whether he's sleeping already or if he's still up and doing something.

I squeeze my eyes tightly, I must be too tired to think properly. I pull the covers over me so that it covers my entire body including my face.

But what is he doing?

To answer Aveline's question, Hoseok is currently cowering on his bed in fear. He's scrunched into a fetal position as he trembles in terror and worry.

Just a few minutes ago he had heard something from his window, something terrifyingly similar to someone throwing rocks at his window. That was still fine but it had Hoseok on guard. You know, just in case there's a murderer out there trying to see if he's a scaredy cat.

But then there was another sound.

Something which sounded way too similar to something...or rather someone, scratching on his window. And so Hoseok sits on his bed, refusing to look at the window in case it confirms his fear.

He brings his thumb to his lips as his brain operates at full capacity. Right now Jin, Yoongi and Aveline are on the same floor as him. If he runs to Jin or Yoongi's room, it would take approximately 20 seconds. If he goes to Aveline's room it would take only 5 seconds.

Then he also has to consider other factors. Yoongi isn't even home so he isn't an option anymore. Jin would probably chase him out of his room so that meant that Aveline is his best bet.

Hoseok is willing to take that bet.

He can maybe ask Aveline to escort him to Jin's room and convince Jin to let him stay for one night. At least he won't have to face the monsters alone.

Hoseok breathes deeply, drawing out a detailed plan in his head. First, get out of the bed. Second, run to the door and open it. Third, take one big step and open Aveline's door then rush in. Fourth, dive into her bed where there are no monsters. Lastly, persuade her to accompany me to Jin hyung's room.

His heart is beating furiously like a train loaded with coal. He only has one attempt at getting this right. His grip on the blanket tightens and he does a mental count down.

Three...Two...One!

He jumps out of the bed, getting to his door in record time and then swinging it open.

First step and second step completed. On to the third step.

He flies across the hallway, reaching the other side in only a single step before pushing open her door too.

Fourth step.

He prepares, his jaw is clenched and his arms are ready for his starting run. He soars through the skies and lands beautifully onto Aveline's bed.

He burrows himself under the covers in the blink of an eye. Hoseok is curled into a ball under Aveline's blankets and his hands are over his head as he shuts his eyes tight.

"What the heck—Hoseok?" Aveline reaches over to turn on the lights to her room. The man slowly pulls down the covers to peek at Aveline.

"Can you...go to Jin hyung's room with me?" His hold on the edge of the blanket tightens as he gulps. "I think there's someone tapping on my window and I don't want to stay alone." He explains as Aveline rubs her eyes.
