Jessica could swear that she just had a bad dream or one of her very overactive imaginations. She focused on that over choosing to admit she had just kissed a guy, on the very day, she net him. As soon as it perked into her mind, she'd shake her head so hard a passer-by would stare waiting for it fall off.
Dressed in a regular T-shirt ripped jeans and slip-on; Jessica looked simple just the way she liked but it was not a representation of the huge conflict within her. The gap between what happened and why was supposed to happen threw her off balance? Yet she walked to class beside Ben aiming for the front row of seats, believing it would keep he who must not be named away from her. But Jack Daniel seemed to have other plans, as Jessica took her seat in between Ben and some weirdo with his head in a bag. The weirdo seemed to have the nerve to talk to her suddenly
"Hey Jess, was I that bad a kisser"
Jessica froze, He chuckled mischievously knowing he had hit his mark. Jessica cussed and been asked her, "what happened?"
she said, "she had grazed her toe on the way in and it just began to hurt.
"Hmm, bad liar" Jack chided moving closer to whisper to her ear
Jessica mustered what looked like a smile and told him to piss off.
Jack laughed out loud drawing attention, Jessica played her face in frustration.
"Potty mouth" he jabbed "why'd you run away
"Not here", she said rolling her eyes to the obvious fact they had company.
"Well ditch the bodyguard and meet me at the foodie's garden".
Jessica quickly opened her mouth to defend Ben, and he put a finger to her lips "shh not worth it" he whispered
Her protest was permanently silenced by the Basic Telecommunications Professor, a tall lanky middle-aged man; who went to the gym to look fit, probably to keep the young girls tripping. Throughout the class, Jessica squirmed and occasionally yelped, Ben gave her questioning glances, but she'd smile to assure him all was well. That gave Jack more opportunities to either pinch or tickle her. She was the most grateful that class ended an hour earlier as she raced to the four, Jack got at her, heels leaving Been confused about he's friend's mental health. Ben was somewhat disappointed she had disappeared on him. He sought comfort in the lingering crowd chatting up some random guys he w, as familiar with. Jessica didn't stop once to look behind her, satisfied in her mind to have avoided Jack, but he's voice startled her stealing her peace and caused her to frown.
"Oh! Don't frown, baby, you obviously wanted us to have alone time that's why you used your speed, so I followed now do I have to carry you to your dorm room or you'd walk?" Jessica wanted to scream at the boy who kissed her troubled her and just won't let her be. Instead, she let out a breath she had been holding smiled and said, "let's go".
An hour later, Jessica was sitting on the floor munching some Oreos and Jack was washing spread eagle in her bed sleeping. It annoyed her but Jack was cute, she had ignored him the whole time and left him to his devices, which ended with him reading "Great Expectations by Charles Dickens" a good choice she had to admit. Jessica seized the opportunity to write in her diary;
Dear diary,
Today was thoroughly unnerving but it was sickly sweet at the same time. Jack is really annoying but I like that he's not trying to please me or anything. I feel sorry for what I did to Ben, I promise to call him. But, running seemed to be the best option I had to stop thinking about those lips. All I've wanted to do is kiss him over and over again. I want to dare to explore his lips and touch those abs.
He's not all dreamy, but he awakens certain fire. I wonder what he feels
"No need to wonder"
"huh that's not my head voice"
Then she saw Jack reading her journal and eating her Oreos
Not the Oreos! But before she could say anything more. Jack smirked and said let's help you finish your story then. Taking a swig of water from her bottle he reached for her journal, she took it out of his reach. So he picked her up with the journal
Just then they were caught up at the moment, "did you mean those words", he asked
She nodded in affirmation, "then let me give you more to write about", with that he kissed her slowly awakening fire within her, he kissed her, and she didn't fight it. She let herself drown in this desire.
