(Time skip to about a couple of years later, they're in Seventh grade)

Pony, Foxy, Kitty and Pandy were chatting in the cafeteria. They had just took a math test, and they were all either complaining how they knew they did bad or how much they hate math. Well, except Pony. He studied all night, and he felt pretty confident about it.

"I'm so dead when I get home, I just know it." Foxy groaned, putting his head down on the table. He never really did well at school. He was kinda like the class clown, always cracking jokes but never paying attention nor caring about his classes.

"Well, maybe if you'd start to pay attention in class and take the time to study, you'd actually do well." Kitty mumbled, while eating her PB&J her mom packed her.

"Look who's talking." Foxy growled. "It's not my fault school sucks. Maybe if they'd make it funner, I'll consider trying."

"Funner isn't a word. Also 'school' is the legit opposite of fun." Pandy said, a little upset. "Trust me, I'm sure we all did bad on that stupid test."

"Gee, thanks." Pony said sarcastically, but he took it as a joke.

"I don't know how you do it, Pony." Foxy said. "I mean- all you get are straight A's and then we're over here barely passing.

"That's because I actually try." Pony said smirking, knowing he'd get a reaction out of him.

"You little-" Foxy tackled him in their seats, laughing.

"Hey, stop it!" Pony said, laughing. Kitty sighed. "I swear why are we even friends with you." She said laughing at them playfully fighting.

"Oh please, you guys can't live without us~" Foxy smirked.  "Right." Pandy said smiling, rolling her eyes. The bell rang, it was time to go back to class. They were going to get there test results back, then go home. Foxy groaned as he dragged himself to the classroom. The teacher handed out the sheets. As she walked around, she eyes Foxy as she gave him the paper. A D minus. Typical. He sighed as he walked out of the classroom. The others were chatting, already waiting for him.

"What'd you get?" Kitty asked him, but she was pretty sure she already knew what he got.

"A D minus." He said. "What about you?"

"C plus. Pandy got an B plus, and of course Pony got an A." Pony chuckled a little. "Don't worry, Foxy. I'm sure you'll do better next time. Hey, maybe I can tutor you?" He said teasing him as they all walked out of the building.

"Oh shut up" Foxy said, rolling his eyes. Pony smirked at him as the girls giggled. Pony loved when they walked home from school with them. It was so..peaceful. Well, at least all the other times it was. This time, it was different. And it will be different for a while.

Kitty and Pandy had already went home. They will always walk each person home. Usually, Kitty and Pandy would be the first ones, since they lived closer to the school. Pony and Foxy were chatting, when Pony could feel someone was following them. He walked faster along with Foxy, confused. Then Pony got pushed to the ground. Luckily, he broke his fall, Foxy turned around, and saw two boys snickering. One was a cheetah, the other a black bear. They look familiar.. Foxy thought. He realized that the two boys went to the same school as him and Pony. They were in different classes, but he has heard teachers talking about them before. About how good their grades are, and how behaved they are. Carson and Brandon. They were one of the top kids in the grade, innocent with teachers, not so innocent with students.

"Would you knock it off?" Foxy asked, annoyed. He helped Pony up. He scraped his knee, but didn't say anything. He looked down, embarrassed.

"And what are you going to do? Run to your mom like a baby?" The bear spoke. Carson laughed, as they saw Foxy's face turned red. He doesn't like it when people tease him, and he hates it when it has something to do with his friends. Pony looked worried, knowing what was about to happen.

"Foxy..lets just go.." He said, pulling is arm. But he didn't move. He just glared at them.

"Honestly, why are you even friends with this nerd. It's pathetic." Carson spoke, laughing.

"What did he ever do to you?!" Foxy yelled. Pony wanted to leave, but Foxy didn't. He decided to try and leave by himself, backing away slowly. He was about to get away with it when Brandon's eyes went from Foxy to Pony.

"Hey, where do you think you're going?" He said, coming towards him. Pony got scared, but as he tried to run away, He grabbed the back of his shirt and pushed him to the ground. Foxy got even more angry then before.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" He shouted. The bear just looked at him and shrugged, like he was doing it for fun.

"Well, what are you going to do about it?" Carson said, laughing. Foxy turned around angrily and scratched him in the face. He fell down, shouting in pain. Pony looked up as his eyes widened. His glasses were tilted, he saw a blurry vision of the cheetah on the ground, his hand covering his right eye as he saw blood dripping from his face.

"F-Foxy cut it out!" He said stuttering. He was afraid he was going to hurt someone else, which he did. Brandon and Foxy were hitting each other. It looked like Brandon was winning the fight, as Foxy fell to the ground. He smirked, but Foxy got up and kicked him. Right in the stomach. He fell down, groaning. Foxy felt someone behind him, grabbing both of his arms. He turned around to see his mother, with an angry look on her face.

"Mom..?" Foxy said, surprised to see her. "We are going home, now." His mom said, grabbing his arm and dragging him home. Pony could hear Foxy, trying to tell his mom what happened, but she wouldn't listen. Pony got up, and brushed off the dust from his clothes. He walked home, with tears in his eyes.
