Chapter 1: Good Morning

"LANIE!!!!" I heard my older brother Sam yell my name from downstairs

I moaned and pulled the covers over my head. I was not ready for the first day of my junior year at a new school...it sucks moving in the middle of the year.

I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and i rolled over and fell on the floor.

THUMP.

Jason pushed open my door and just started laughing.

"Well, what has happened here?" Jason asked while laughing

"Shut it, Sherlock" i said while pushing a piece of hair out of my face and turning to look at him.

He chuckled and closed my door.

After 5 minutes of laying there i hopped off the floor and walked to my bathroom and jumped in the shower.

I got out and curled my long dirty blonde hair.

I dont wear makeup so i put on some strawberry chapstick.

I walked out of my bathroom and went to my closet. I picked out a blue tank top, a floral komodo and light blue distressed jeans. I grabbed my bag and phone and ran downstairs.

When i got downstairs Sam was making waffles, so i sat at the island and ate 2.

By the time i was finished it was 7:30 and school started at 8.

"Sam! Im going to your car." I yelled before walking out the front door.

Sam was driving me to school today since it was my first day.

I got in the car and sam ran out of the house.

He jumped in and turned to me... "ready" he asked putting his Raybans on.

"As ever" i answered.

We pulled up to the huge college like high school.

There were students everywhere.

Sam looked over at me..." good luck" he said and kissed my cheek.

I closed my eyes..." thanks big bro, i love you.

"Love you more" he smiled

"Not possible" i smiled back and sighed.

I grabbed my bag and opened the door.

"Have a good day Lane!" He shouted as i walked towards the school.

That put a smile on my face, Sam had called me Lane since i was a baby.

I walked into the school ready to face whatever was thrown at me!!
