"Welcome back, I'm joined by the members of the hottest groups today in Kpop sensations, BLACKPINK!" James spoke announcing and the crowd cheered. The girls raised their hands in greeting.
Well, the most nervous members were definitely Clary and Jennie. Due to their fear of loud sounds. "We're going to test their steelee nerves in a game we called flinch."
"Right, have you seen this game before?" James asked turning slightly towards the members.
"I've heard a lot about this." Clary spoke with a nervous smile.
At James' explanations of what the game was about, Jennie let out a small whisper 'oh my godness.' The members were nervous but also excited at the same time.
After the explanation, James turned to the BLACKPINK members. "Now who out of you scares the easiest? Do you think?" He asked.
"I think Clary, or maybe Jennie." Lisa affirmed in a low voice. Clary leaned on her knees laughing in response.
Jennie raised her hand and grabbed Clary's arm and lifted it up as well. "It is us." Jennie said.
"Is it really? Are you scared by this?" James asked in a joking tone.
"Yes, this is terrifying." Clary replied while tucking her hair behind her shoulders.
James looked at the crowd and said, "I think it's really fitting if you two and Jisoo go first then." The room was filled with applause and encouragement towards the girls.
"Oh my God." Jennie said while putting a hand on her head as a sign of not believing what was happening. Well, if Clary was scared, she was more scared now. The three girls walked together until they reached behind the glass.
As James blurted out random words, Clary couldn't focus on anything other than the fruit shooter.
"Jisoo how are you feeling? You don't seemed scared, you seemed pretty cool." James said noticing that Jisoo didn't have the same nervous aura as the other two girls.
"I'm not scary." Jisoo replied in English. Jennie and Clary cheered her on to the beat of the crowd with little 'ooh'
"Really, does that make you feel more confident Clary?" James asked with the aim of distracting her to get a more truthful reaction.
"I'm kind of walking on thin ice━" Clary couldn't continue the sentence as her scream replaced her words. The fruits had brazenly hit the glass. Clary couldn't remove her big eyes and hands beside her ears.
Jennie had screamed too, now she had a hand on her chest area. Jisoo didn't seem that scared, she had just flinched slightly.
"Oh my God." Rosé said as she put a hand on her mouth to hide her surprised laugh. The crowd cheered and laughed.
James laughed. "Let's have a look at a replay." He said, so that later the camera projected the images in slow motion.
Jennie and Clary laughed at their own reaction as they walked away from the glass. Lisa received them at three with a hug, as a sign of comfort.
"I mean━ That was nice." Jennie said as she pointed in James's direction.
"Jisoo, you were like, you look as if I just called out and asked you to go get a coffee." James said, doing an overly funny imitation. The girls laughed at this.
"My heart is beating very hard right now." Clary added as she had a hand on her chest. "Although, we were having a fun conversation."
James rested one of his hands on Clary's shoulder lightly. "We were. I had to tell you, we all had a great time." Clary laughed at this.
"Next up, Lisa and Rosé. Go take your place behind the glass." The younger ones walked to the glass, nervous as their unnies were, only more excited. With the sound of the clapping crowd.
"How do you think you'll fare in comparison between Clary, Jennie and Jisoo? Do you think you'll be better than Jennie, Clary and Jisoo or worse?" James asked them. Clary shook her head, she knew that Rosé and Lisa were braver in that regard.
"I think we're good." Rosé answered and then paused. "We're younger than them but we're always there to protect them so."
"You're standing together very firm right now, look at the two of you, you're deep in it." James told them, the girls made a gesture of arms that mimicked boxers.
"I'm very scared, you're going to press that." "Rosé dropped her hand, giggling nervously.
James cheered with his hands. "There's nothing to be scared of, only three people have ever been harmed playing this game."
"I think they can handle this." Jisoo said to the girls in a whisper.
"I'll scoff at them if they don't make it." Jennie joked, the three of them shared a laugh.
"Let's pay attention." Clary said seeing that James was about to press the button.
"Will you be thinking of this while you're at Coachella this weekend, in front of those people?" James asked them. Doing the same distracting strategy as he did with the unnie-line.
"Oh, I hope━" Rosé couldn't finish her sentence because the sound of fruit against the glass echoed in her ears. Clary was scared too and flinched, screamed. Rosé leaned against Lisa in fear.
Jisoo held Clary's shoulder laughing at her. "Let's see a replay." James said. Lisa walked with a shocked face and Clary greeted her with a hug like Lisa did with her before.
"That was a huge flinch." James said as he watched the replay. Rosé laughed at her reaction.
"Have you ever tried it?" Jennie asked him because James seemed to have no experience with it.
"Have I tried it?" It was his turn to ask her. Jennie nodded in response.
Rosé spoke: "Do you flinch?"
"Do I flinch? Well let's find out girls." James said and then started walking behind the glass. Clary wanted to see if he was scared, for start to laugh at him the way he laughed at her.
"Put the fruits on the shooter." James explained in a helpful way. Lisa put the fruit in so that Clary would later take control of the shooter.
Lisa mixed the fruits in the shooter. "Okay, so who's got the thing?" James asked them. The girls looked at each other.
"We wouldn't know this is gonna be a secret." Rosé said.
"Oh okay." James answered confidently.
"So James, how many times have you played this before?" Clary asked him.
James spoke: "A couple of times, we played it with a few different people━" Clary pressed the button leaving him speechless.
James didn't even flinch. It seemed that the sound and the feeling were already strange to him. Clary couldn't help being surprised and neither could the girls. Rosé laughed with her hand over her mouth, while Jisoo couldn't believe what was happening either.
"How is it possible?" Clary said, then James would come out of the glass with an evil, self-righteous smile.
The girls and the crowd cheered at this.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, BLACKPINK! We'll be right back." James said conclusively.
