🤗: His Return and an unexpected confession

Setting: after Kakashi was replaced by Naruto as the Hokage where he became an active anbu member.
{Not a request}

"Sakura!"

"Sakura!"

"Sakura san!"

"Chief officer!"

"Haruno san!"

All that sakura could here is voices calling out her name here and there. It was supposed to be a normal day for the pinkette at the hospital but when she heard that a group of anbu has returned from a dangerous mission, she quickly gave them the attention that they needed. Since the captain of team ro is none other than the man she secretly loved -- Hatake Kakashi...
Furthermore, it's been a year back from the day that she have last seen him.

She's giving every chakra that she had to heal them and because of it, every inch of her body started to throb. It really is hard to use the power of the hundred seals if you're not used to it. Sakura remembered her shisho lecturing her about that and yet she still used it and disobeyed the order... For him.

"Miss sakura, the bleeding has stopped! You can deactivate the hundred seals now!"
A nurse said

"Thank you miss sakura for healing us!"
The anbu members said.

Sakura quickly deactivated the hundred healings seal and yet something makes her mind bothered. She is happy that she was able to save the anbu members but their captain is still in his bed, asleep and unmoving but stable. Probably still recuperating from his injuries, kakashi stirred awake...

"Where am I?"
The captain of team ro asked

"You're in the hospital, captain."
The bird masked member said

"Why?"
Kakashi asked being confused

"Everyone let's leave them be!"
Shizune said happily

"Haiiii!"
The anbu members said

"Sakura? Sakura chan why am I here...?"
Kakashi asked while examining her

He can't quiet figure it out but sakura seemed to be droopy. Maybe it's because she's tired, she's the head of the hospital after all... Kakashi said to himself before calling out her name again. This time he had a response...

Kakashi was surprised when Sakura pulled him to a warm, longing hug.

"Kakashi sensei! Stop scaring me like that! I thought you'd die on my hands! Please, please stop associating yourself in such missions! I thought that I'm going to lose you!"

Sakura said between sobs

"I'm sorry for worrying you sakura chan. I promise I wouldn't take any missions anymore." Kakashi said bluntly

"Huh?"

"I'll accept the position as the supervisor of Anbu black ops. I will so that my love wouldn't keep on worrying about me." Kakashi said to her while kissing the top of her head

"M-my love? W-who? Me? Kakashi sensei you love me?"
Sakura asked

"H-hai! Sakura I-"

Kakashi was cut off by sakura kissing him on the lips. It seemed so magical, so marvelous and astonishing even though there is a mask in between them. Kakashi pulled out from the kiss and removed his mask kissing her passionately again and pulling her in an embrace.

"Stay with me tonight sakura chan."
Kakashi said

"Yes kakashi sensei."
The young lady replied

"Drop the formalities, Saku chan"
Kakashi half teased

"Gomen ne, I just got used to it"
Sakura said whilst avoiding his gaze

It wasn't long until the both of them have fallen asleep together in kakashi's hospital bed. Sakura in kakashi's arms cuddling with each other.

It's so warm. Sakura thought to herself.

Sakura's hand quickly fall to kakashi's uncovered face. Caressing it gently as to not wake him up and slowly reaching to his cheek to kiss him and with that, Kakashi slowly stirred awake from his slumber.

"Sakura? Is something wrong?"
Kakashi asked

No response

"Sakura? I love you Sakura chan."
Kakashi said

"Me too, Kakashi sensei."
Sakura said

"Is something the matter?"
Kakashi asked her.

"No nothing kakashi sensei. It's just that... I... I've missed you kakashi sensei. I'm also very glad that you're finally back... Here."
Sakura briefly replied

It is such a great day today as the sun glistens and the soft voices throughout the halls of the hospital. The warmth that surrounds her and the muscular chest that she can oversee and all that sakura could think is that kakashi is with her... Again and forever.
