Her eyes were bright like the rays of sunshine. Her cheeks were flushing with joy. Her skin tone was radiant as ever, but the moment she turned around, all of that went away. Her eyes turn dark and cold. Her cheeks stop glowing and her skin tone went pale. I felt like I wanted to do something about it, but she told me to not pay attention to it. IT. HIM.

"Nick, lets go."
She abruptly grabbed my arm and yank me toward the school building.

"Jessica, you just can't simply turn away from your problems, let me handle this."
The way I said it kind of surprised me. I intended for it to come out harsh, but instead it came out annoyed. I will admit I was annoyed by the fact that she won't let me take this matter into my own hands.

"Nick, as much as I want you to beat him up to pulp... I just don't want you to get hurt. I don't want you to get into the mess I made."

She looked down . For a moment it looked like she was going into her past. Her horrifying past.
