Jessica's POV
3 years ago...It was one of those lazy summer days. The wind was just a breeze, the sky was bright and clear blue. The hot sun was burning just a little bit on my skin. All I was doing was sitting in my front porch. I had my hair in a messy bun and was wearing one of my favorite tank tops that said "Too young to Care."
Why does everybody...
I lost my train of thought when I saw this truck. It was one of those trucks that help you move your stuff into your new house. I only got to see a glimpse of who was inside. I saw the driver who was a she, and a very pale looking guy....
"Hey honey, come help bring the groceries inside."
I was so distracted that I was startled a little when I heard my parents arrived from the market.
I help my parents unload the car. My mom promised me that she was going to buy me my favorite cookies: VANILLA OREO COOKIES!
I opened one of the grocery bags, and to my luck I saw them!! I took them out of the bag and started praising it as if they were Jesus! I opened the package and was about to load my mouth with them delicious, savory cookies, but my mom saw what I was going to do and she said with sarcasm, "Hey, you just watch it with those. They'll make you fat."
"Gee, thanks for lowering my self-esteem" I said while rolling my eyes.
She said sarcastically, "Do that one more time, and I'll promise you, you will not have eyeballs the next time you roll your eyes at me."
I responded her while laughing, "Mom, I love you and all, but you can't be mean nor serious."
She tried to mimic me by rolling her eyes just like I do, but she fail miserably.
We both just laugh together and my dad just walks in on us while we were laughing like maniacs. He looked at us funny and said, "What are you guys laughing about. I can hear both of you laughing like hyenas all the way outside."
My mom and I stopped laughing. We both looked at our him mad, but none of could be serious. We abruptly start laughing for a good few minutes.
I just love my family.
