While doing time patroller missions, Icejin had to go somewhere particular. He was said to go to a spaceship ran by Lord Frieza. Icejin went to the ship and looked around. Once he reached the head of the ship, he seen another ice demon. It was Lord Frieza himself. Icejin couldn't believe they were other ice demons in another Universe. Once approached, Icejin asked to join the Frieza force. He had to take an enlistment test for Frieza's Army.
Icejin passed the test and went on to fight higher ranked soldiers in the Frieza Force. He went on to defeat Dodoria, Zarbon, The Ginyu Force, and even Frieza's brother Cooler. Icejin was taking over the ship easily. Frieza took notice and offered Icejin to train with him. Frieza never trained but Icejin was quite powerful and capable unlike others. The two went on to fight each other a few times until things got serious. Icejin had turned against Frieza.
Frieza and Icejin faced for the Universe's strongest. This was their final battle. But, Frieza wanted Icejin to fight him full power. Frieza and his brother Cooler fought him as Frieza teached Icejin golden mode/form. After this, they battle. Icejin was getting beaten badly with Frieza laughing. Then, it happened, Icejin went golden. Afterwards, Frieza lost and made Icejin the emperor, leader of the Frieza Force. He was the ultimate one.
