A black and white tom, Himalayan she-cat, and a tortoiseshell she-cat walked through the forest the sun warming their fur. The cats walked out to see a thunder path "ok I'll go first, misty can go second, Breeze do you think you'll be able to cross on your own?" the black and white tom meowed. the tortoiseshell she-cat purred "I think I'll be good Blackfur". Blackfur dipped his head and started to sniff the air and set a paw on the thunder path, when it was safe he crossed. Then misty did the same crossing safely.
Misty and blackfur let out yowls of encouragement for Breeze. Breeze tried to sniff the air and set her paw on the thunder path a bit too quick at thinking it was safe to cross. When she crossed and got to the middle a monster came rumbling down the thunderpath. Blackfur and Misty let out yowls of surprise. Suddenly a flash of silver fur streaked through and came rushing for breeze and brought her to their side in time, as the monster roared past.
The silver shape became clearer as it stopped beside them and set Breeze down. The silver shape was a silver tabby with stripes and swirls with light blue clear eyes, this was a tom. The Himalayan looked at the tom curiously. The tom dipped his head and was about to disappear into some bushes when Misty put a paw out on the tom. The toms fur stood on end he turned around towards Misty "what is it? I don't have much time so make it quick". Misty purred "you were so brave, thank you, er what's your name?" the tabby sat down and flicked his tail"I'm jayfeather" Jayfeather turned to leave when he grunted a bit.
Misty went up to him " I think you bruised your paw when you were saving Breeze" Jayfeather looked at her again "i'm fine and I can take care of myself" Misty set a paw on him and purred "I'm not going to let you roam around by yourself with a bruised paw!" Jayfeather flicked his tail "fine, but only till my paw is no longer bruised"
