𝙻𝙾𝙾𝙽𝙰 𝚄𝙽𝚃𝙸𝙻 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙴𝙽𝙳

𝙲𝙷𝙰𝙿𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝟻: 𝚅𝙸𝚅𝙸

Jin gets out of the car, followed by the rest of the crew. 

"Why'd we stop at a mall?" Heejin asked as they all stood in a circle. 

"Uh cause," Jin started, while showing off his blood-stained clothes, "plus I'm sure aren't going to be comfortable in that skirt and those flats." 

Heejin looked down at her outfit and shrugged. "I mean probably not but wouldn't the mall be super packed?" She asked. 

The group nodded looking at Jin with worried eyes. "Guys it's a Wednesday and look there are no cars close by. To be honest, it was scary seeing how empty this town is, it's like they all evacuated." 

"Probably cause they did," Hasuel spoke up, "we were just listening to the radio and heard new stations saying some cities were evacuated before the virus got there." 

"Virus?" Yeojin repeated. 

"Yeah, they said this is a virus that broke out causing the brain and nervous system to shut down creating essentially brain dead people who turn rabid and infect others by bites or scratches." Hasuel explained. 

The group in Jin's car looked at her terrified as they took in the information. "We should hurry and get whatever we can, they said there might be a medical center a couple of miles from here that's like a refuge." Hyunjin said, grabbing Heejin's hand and started walking to the mall entrance with a rifle in hand. 

The rest of the group followed cautiously and entered the deserted mall. 

"Should we split up? You know, cover more ground." Yoongi suggested. 

"No. No more splitting up." Jin firmly stated. 

The group headed over to the first store that wasn't boarded up. It was a sports store, Jin stood at the entrance, almost guarding it while the other went in and started either changing or looking for other useful things.

Heejin stood close by Hyunjin who took off her shirt revealing her sports bra and grabbed a clean shirt from the rack in front of them. Heejin quickly shut her eyes and spun around giving Hyunjin privacy. Hyunjin noticed this and laughed. Heejin turned back, furrowing her brows while scrunching her nose, and pouted. 

"Why are you laughing?" She asked. Hyunjin couldn't help but smile, causing Heejin to smile as well. 

"Come on change, here I'm sure these would fit you." Hyunjin pulled Heejin by her sweater, towards the racks labeled small. Heejin took her time picking out what she wanted while Hyunjin looked for the shoes she wanted in her size. Once Hyunjin looked back at Heejin, she was wearing grey joggers, a white fitted crop top, and a flannel. Heejin felt Hyunjin's gaze and got embarrassed as she walked over to her. 

"If you take a picture it'll last longer." She confidently said, looking anywhere but at Hyunjin, who cleared her throat and turned back to the wall of shoes. 

"Um, what sneakers do you want?" She asked Heejin.

"Um... those." She pointed to a pair of air force ones. 

"What size?" Hyunjin asked. 

"Six please." Hyunjin handed her the shoes, watching as she carefully took off her flats and stared at her after. 

"What?" Hyunjin asked, confused at why she stopped. 

"I need socks." Heejin softly said, realizing she forgot about those. 

"Oh yeah, okay hold on I'll get you some."

By the kid's section, Hasuel picked out a pair of running shoes and quickly put them on. She noticed Yeojin slowly walk to the wall and try to reach for a pair but couldn't reach. Hasuel looked around and found a stool bringing it over to the girl and giving her a small nod. Yeojin smiled at her and stepped up grabbing the shoes.
