𝙲𝙷𝙰𝙿𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝟷𝟶: 𝙹𝙸𝚆𝙾𝙾

Quickly blinking, Hyunjin opens her eyes to see the whole gas station on fire. Her ears are ringing and head is spinning from hitting the floor.

Sooyoung managed to run in the store and get the girls out the back door before the explosion.

Haseul laid on her stomach on the grass while Yeojin was laying on her back in front of a tree, forehead bleeding.

Sooyoung was getting up from the curb she landed on with cuts and scrapes on her legs. "Hyunjin, are you okay?" She asks, walking over to the girl and helping her up.

"Huh, what did you say?" Hyunjin asks louder than she should have.

Sooyoung shakes her head and points at the other girls, gesturing that they should carry the unconscious girls.

Hyunjin nods and walks over to pick up Haseul.

With the girls on their backs Sooyoung and Hyunjin walk away from the gas station having to duck away and steer clear of walkers.

A light hits Sooyoung's face, making her squint. She sees a dark figure on top of a nearby bowling alley shining a flashlight into a mirror causing the reflection to hit her. The figure waves them over and disappears into a door, Sooyoung assumes the door leads into the building.

As they get near the entrance the door slides open revealing a younger boy letting them in.

"Thank you, so-" Sooyoung was saying but stopped as soon as the boy pointed a gun at her chest.

"Woah, woah, woah calm down. We aren't infected, I'm a doctor." Hyunjin says, lifting her hands.

"Wait, you're a doctor?" The boy asks, as soon as he notices she's wearing scrubs.

"Yeah, ortho surgeon to be exact."

"Well perfect, I need you to help my sister." The boy says walking off and waving the girls over.

Hyunjin and Sooyoung share a look but follow the boy anyway. The boy let's Hyunjin and Sooyoung lay Haseul and Yeojin down on the booths by the bowling lanes, before following him.

Reaching the kitchen the boy gasps. "Oh my, I didn't introduce myself. Hi, I'm Hyeongjun. Thank you for helping me."

Sooyoung furrows her brows, "We are the ones who should thank you, but yeah um... I'm Sooyoung and this is Hyunjin," Hyunjin waves, "where's your sister."

Hyeongjun smiles and perks up his shoulders, "Oh, she's in there. Look." He says pointing at the little window on the kitchen door.

Hyunjin nods at Sooyoung to look. She walks over and peeks through the glass and there she sees a middle aged woman limping around growling and biting the air.

Sooyoung turns to look at Hyunjin first, giving her a look before letting her look inside.

Once Hyunjin took a look she turned back with furrowed brows. "Uh kid you know that isn't your sister anymore right- ow!"

Sooyoung elbowed her before she could say anything else.

The kid lifted a brow and crossed his arms, "That thing in there isn't my sister, my sister is locked in the closet on the other side of the room."

"Ohh, that makes more sense." Hyunjin mumbled.

"Hyeongjun, I'm back." A voice calls out from an exit next to the arcade.

"Hyung, I'm over here! Look who I brought."

The older boy storms over and stands in front of his brother shielding him from the girls.
