𝙻𝙾𝙾𝙽𝙰 𝚄𝙽𝚃𝙸𝙻 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙴𝙽𝙳

𝙲𝙷𝙰𝙿𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝟿: 𝚂𝙾𝙾𝚈𝙾𝚄𝙽𝙶

"Is she asleep?" Vivi asks, finally pulling over into a house's driveway.
"Yeah. She's so puffy, she looks adorable."Jungeun whispers.
"I can hear you and no I'm not asleep, I'm just thinking of why the universe hates me with my eyes closed." Heejin's deep voice fills the air.
Jungeun tenses up which Heejin notices and gets out of her embrace.
"Heejin." Vivi calls out.
Heejin snaps her head towards her, "Don't. I can't believe you left them."
"Heejin you know she had to. It's not her fault, hey look," Jungeun grabs Heejin's chin and makes their eyes meet, "If you want someone to hate, hate me. I told her to leave."
Heejin glares at Jungeun, "Okay fine then, I hate you." She says and walks off and into another seat.
Yerim sits up and yawns, stretching out her arms, "Ow," She winces as soon as she moves her neck around. "What happened?" She asks softly.
Heejin who was now a few seats in front of her turns to her and glares causing Yerim to raise a brow.
"I wouldn't have asked that if I were you, you kinda missed a lot." Jinsoul whispered to her.

They end up breaking into the house making sure to not to make too much noise and attract walkers. As tired as they were they managed to break in and bring in their supplies. Most of the girls immediately found a place to rest and quickly fell asleep. Vivi, however, made sure to secure their shelter and block off any exit before also finding herself quickly fall into a deep sleep.
The next day Jungeun wakes up to Heejin aggressively scribbling on a piece of paper.
"What are you doing?" She asks, yawning and stretching.
"Making these." Heejin holds up a paper with 'Hyunjin, go to airport' on it.
"Airport?" Jungeun asks.
"Yeah, I was thinking, wouldn't the helicopters use that airport, it doubles as a government base since their headquarters are around the block." Heejin says still scribbling. Jungeun furrows her brows.
"How do you know that?"
"My dad is- I mean he was in the air force." She explains now scribbling softer.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Jungeun says, looking around avoiding eye contact.
"Oh you're finally awake." Vivi says to Jungeun.
"Am I the last one to wake up?"
"No, your little fan girl is still sleeping on the couch over there." Jinsoul points to Yerim.
"Fangirl?" Jungeun asks.
Jinsoul rolls her eyes and crosses her arms, "Yeah now get up and help us find a way to get to the airport. We found a map in one of the drawers."
She says, pulling out the huge map and places it on the table.
Heejin continues making posters while the older girls plan out their route. Once Yerim finally wakes up she helps out Heejin.
"Can we eat something?" Yerim asks out loud.
"I think there's some-" Vivi was cut off by a pounding at the door.
All the girls became quiet.
"Help, help! I know you're in there. Please!" A voice cried out.
Yerim got up and was about to open the door but Jungeun quickly ran over and stopped her.
"We can hear you in there, just open up would you. We have food!" Another feminine voice yelled.
Jinsoul's eyes widened, noticing they were too tired last night to check the house for food or supplies. Quickly looking through the cupboards she realized they were all empty.
"We've been to this house already, we have all the food!" the voice added.
Jungeun sighed loudly and slowly let go of Yerim's arm, letting her open the door. Slowly opening it she revealed two girls one was standing with a pistol aimed at the street and the other carrying an unconscious girl on her back. The unknown girls walked past Yerim and Jungeun.
"It took you long enough." The girl giving the piggy back said.
"Why would we just open the door for strangers." Jungeun scoffed.
"Well you did so." Jungeun glared as the girl slowly put down her friend on the couch.
"Enough Karin we need their help." The girl with the pistol said.
"Help with what?" Vivi softly asked.
"Oh uh, my friend here," the girl continued, "she dislocated her hip. She wont let us pop it back into place but with help maybe you can hold her down while we fix it?"
"How do you know it's dislocated? And how are we supposed to put it back?" Heejin asked, finally looking up from her posters.
"I'm  Dr. Choi, but you can just call me Bella," She introduced herself as she put away her pistol, "this is Karin, a close friend of mine and my hurt friend is Sohee."
Karin nodded to everyone before plopping herself down on the other couch.
"Wow what's the chance we find another doctor." Jinsoul randomly states.
"Another doctor?" Bella questions.
"Yeah we had a bigger group with a doctor but uh... they um, we had to leave them behind. We came from the hospital near the soccer stadium-"
"St. Mary's Hospital?" Bella interrupted Jungeun.
"Uh yeah how'd you know?" Yerim asked.
Bella froze, eyes becoming watery. "Who was the doctor? My best friend was working today."
Jungeun gulped, if her best friend wasn't Sooyoung, they died in the hospital; but if it was Sooyoung she literally exploded.
"Dr. Ha Sooyoung."
Bella and Karin gasped causing the other girls to flinch.
"Sooyoungie! Oh my god that's her." Bella yelled, causing Sohee to wake.
"What's going on? Where are we?" Sohee groggily asked.
"These girls found Sooyoung. She's okay."
"Where is she?" Sohee now asked, with a smile forming on her face.
"Yeah why isn't she with you?" Karin added.
The group all looked at one another before all turning to Jungeun to deliver the news.
"Uh, we kinda had to split up," Jungeun started, making Heejin scoff, "there wasn't time for Sooyoung and a couple others to get on the bus so we had to leave them at the gas station off of the highway."
"That's bull, we could've waited!" Heejin yelled, storming off into the other room.
Vivi followed her making sure she wasn't about to go off on her own.
"What is she talking about?" Karin asked, with an eyebrow raised.
Jungeun rubbed her temples with her hands before letting out a big sigh. "We were pumping gas at the station but the generator we were using was making too much sound, attracting the walkers. Some of the girls went into the convenience store to get food which is why Sooyoung went in there to get them when we saw a bus uncontrollably driving straight towards the station. We had to move the bus or we'd get hit so we drove off and watched the station blow up behind us."
Karin sat there with wide eyes while Bella and Sohee began to tear up.
"I'm sorry but I'm not sure if she's alive." Jungeun added.
Bella abruptly stood up and walked out of the house.
Jungeun stood up from her previous kneeing position but Karin spoke up, "Don't bother, she'll be back in a few. Sooyoung was basically her girlfriend." Jungeun nodded but walked over to the window and watched as Bella killed some walkers who passed by, kicking their bodies over and over after they were already down.
