Chapter.4 The travel and the reveal

After being questioned and proded by the Captain,they were free to roam around the ship.The sky was clear and held a tangy orange tint in the sky."Beautiful.."I stared at the sky,completely dazed by its beauty.I was trying to decide rather I failed or not on the hunter exam,I would make sure to rember this moment.As I was completely mezmorized by the sight,I didnt notice the sailboat landing into our location.Until I heard the hollers and shouts of sailor's yelling to drop the anchor,and calling for passengers to meet at the front deck.I hurriedly scrambled to the deck,letting my excitement take me over.My feet moved on there own,making there way towards front.Once I got there I met with a few sailor's,the caption,the three boys I saw earlier,and the same sailor boy who the little boy in green saved,standing right next to the caption.I smiled warmly,as I now stood beside the group of three boys,as I now knew there names from the small 'interview' with the caption.The tallest one of them all,with the blue suit,briefcase,and glasses was known as Leorio,he warmed up to the others and told them he didnt have to call him Mr.Leorio,but I still do since he never told me not to.The blonde haired boy,with grey gloomy eyes,that looked as if they held a secret rage behind them,was known as Kurapika.Lastly,is Gon, the one little boy with the green outfit,fishing rod,and green and black hair,was Gon.He was a pure innocent boy,and every time I looked at him I wanted to pinch his cheeks and cradle him.But as I stood beside them,the caption began wishing us farwell.As we where leaving the small sailboat,I heard the caption talking to Gon privately.I decided to wait for Gon,but didn't snoop for the respect of the caption examiner and for my new little friend Gon.About 5 minutes passed,I felt a presence listening to Gon and captions conversation.He seemed to be hiding behind the boxes near them.I glanced his way before deciding he wasn't worth the time.I waited about 2 more minutes until seeing Gon bidding goodbye to the old caption,after thanking him.He was surprised to see me waiting for him,but seemed happy about it.He gave me a huge grin,in which I returned the favor with a small genuine smile."Cmon lets go,before Kurapika and Mr.Leorio leave with out us."I said as I lead him to where they walked off to.During the walk to there current location,Gon turned my way to look at me."You know..you don't have to call him Mr.Leorio,Leorio is just fine."He told me,I smiled and glanced down at him,I pat his head and said "Thanks for telling me Gon but I insist on Mr.Leorio.I gave him a small smile before dropping the conversation and focusing on where we were heading.Gon turned back to face front just saying "okay!"."He always seems to be so happy."I thought,before letting the little cute boy slip from my train of thought.A little while later we arrived at our location.We saw Leorio and Kurapika standing infront of the Town's public map.They seemed deep in thought.I noticed the small paper slip in Leorio's hand.I decided to ask him about it,"Hey Mr.Leorio."I said,he turned around and when he saw who had called his name,u saw a faint pink-ish red color creeping on his cheeks."U-Um..Leorio is just f-fine."He stuttered.I giggled at his reaction,"Okay Leorio,anyways..""May I ask about that slip in ur hand?"I asked.He looked away,still blushing before rembering the slip in his hand.He looked down and rubbed the back of his head."Heh..sorry about that."He said quit flustered.I only smiled."U-um...well this note just says to take the buses and that they will lead us to Zaban city,where the exam is held."I thought "It couldn't simply be that easy..right?"As I was deep in thought about it Gon piped up "Later the caption told me to head towards the cedar tree on the hill."He said while pointing his finger at the hill.All of us followed our gaze where his finger pointed."Hmm,that would make more since,the exam cant be that easy as to tell us where the exam is and like the caption said even if they did tell us where it is,thered be to many applicants."I exclaimed,Kurapika seemed deep in thought and then said "I agree."I simply smiled and turned on my heels"Cmon guys!Lets hurry and get there then!"Soon two pairs of feet were walking on either side of me.We all noticed Leoiro grumbling before walking the opposite direction towards the buses.I rolled my eyes and continued on,"I'm not going to be the one to save him from his stupidity."I thought to myself,as we were walking Gon stopped.He glanced back at Leorio before shouting,"Leorio!Its this way."Leorio just ignored Gon and countied on.It made me slightly angry he ignored Gon after his kindness.I turned around again,my blood still boiling before saying,"Cmon Gon,its no use,let him do what he wants.Its his own stupid fault for not believing us."Gon just frowned slightly back before catching up and matching pace with us.

A few moments later Leorio finally decided to join us back.He ran back up to us saying,"Wait,guys!Im sorry,you guys were right!"

I smirked smugly,before turning around to see a panting Leorio who ran all the way to catch up to us.

"Took you long enough."I teased

He matched our groups pace.

But,I still felt the same presence back from behind the boxes,where the men hid,following us.

I ignored it deciding to not let the enemy know I knew about him.

"For now I'll ignore it.",and as I thought that,I turned back to chat with the group.

《》《》《》《》《》《》《》《》《》Once we had cleared all the past challenges we did,I figured I was right.Right when we had just meant our first challenge.The same guy I thought had been following us decided to make his appearance.

He had a smug smile on,proud of himself.I scoffed at this,but decided to ignore it for now.

As we successfully passed the exam ourselves,we figured out the last man had gotten it wrong.Now it was my turn to smirk smugly.

After the rest of the challenges,I grew closer to the group.We didnt meet any other applications along the way to the exam.

But now we stood in a elevator,it looked as a small dining room.

Leorio and Kurapika where in a heated argument, I saw Gon sweat drop but just pulled out a book I had been reading from my bag,I still was carrying.

As I tugged the book out,I felt my fingers move on there own.Tracing over the leather front of the book.

I rember this book to well.It was from my ex lover and boyfriend,Chrollo Lucilfer.I sighed rembering him and the day he had given me this book.

I was sitting on my usual spot in the troupes hide out.I had first meant the troupe of age 13,and now stood there enjoying the conpany.During that time,me and the leader got close.We shared the same interests and we both secertly had a love for eachother.This day I perched on the rock I rested myself on.I was fiddling with a painting I was finishing,as I felt a presence approach.I knew that presence all to well.Right as I thought that he appeared in the door way,hands held behind his back.

He had a charming smirk on his handsome face.As he starred at me."Yes chrollo-chan?"I asked,this had always been my nickname for him once we got close.He simpley smiled before taking his hands from his back to reveal a wrapped present.

I gave him a questioning look but he stood there out stretching his hands to me,gift still in hand.

"For you."

I smiled before reaching it,simply opening it.Inside had been the book I had dreamed of.

I smiled warmly at seeing the book laid in my hands.

I looked up at him before confessing,"I love you"

He pulled me into a kiss,a passionate kiss,I let him pull me into his chest.

"I love you to."He whispered in my ear.

I shook my head slightly at the memory sighing before allowing it to leave my mind.

As I was lost in a memory,I had tooned out there argument.

They suddenly faced me and Gon,who was still sweat dropping.

"Which type of hunter do you want to be?"They both chantly at the same time.

I sighed and rubbed my temples,I had no idea what they were talking about.

A sudden crash wiped them of there arguments and made them face the elevator doors.

It read B100.

I saw Gon sigh in relief by being saved ,I chuckled at that.

I grabbed my bag,stuffing the leather book inside.Frowing at the memory's and bad vibe I got off of it.I shrugged it off and clutched the bag by my side before turning and heading straight forward into the tunnel.
