The next day rolled around, Rei sat on her bed staring blankly at her wall. She was already changed into her Red uniform, the buttons on her uniform were snug against her skin even though they were just for show. There was a burial for Raymond, his family visited his grave and gave a small speech. But it ended up being classified as a death in the line of duty. After all, Rei's quirk was to never be told to the public as a whole. Many families remained blissfully unaware of the reason behind the deaths of their loved ones. 

Rei stood and tugged her boots on, the black tights she usually wore were ditched onto her unmade bed. She hated cleaning up after herself, it was one of her many flaws.

Rei stood in front of the classroom, her back pressed against the black board as she waited for her classmates to arrive. Nana made the mistake of letting her into the classroom early. And so, here she was, bored out of her mind as she paced around the classroom. She ended up standing in front of one of the many windows, her horns pressed against the cool glass. Ever since she had killed Raymond, it had been dull. She never really cared about him, but it was a change in her schedule. When Raymond would usually escort her out of the Kindergarten. 

The guard shifts changed and her usual escort changed as well. 

It was boring, she would have to choose another person to pilot with. 

"Is this what sadness feels like?" Rei mumbles softly, she ran her gloved fingers through her hair. 

She felt the need to frown but her expression stayed stoic, nothing pleased her. 

The rattling of the sliding classroom door alarmed her and she turned to face who entered the room. The wind that gushed through the now open window and the winding sakura pink strands that danced around her slim waist made anyone look at her breathless. 

Todoroki stood in the door way, duel-hued eyes watching her cherry-red horns. Rei smirked, though, it was forced and expressed a complicated backstory. "Quit staring, Pervert..." Rei hums, her left hand reaching up to cover her horns from sight. Todoroki seemed to be perplexed by the comment. "You sexually harassed me." Rei waved her hand dismissively. 

"You were staring at me--it's the same thing, you humans are all the same so, why do you have to act so complicated?" Rei forces a sly smirk, "It's a pain, honestly." The smirk disappears once Todoroki goes to his seat, sitting down quietly and grabbing a thin worn-out book from his bag. Rei raised a brow at it. 

"What's that?" Rei questions, she forced the boy to move over as she crossed her legs over his lap. Effectively getting in his personal bubble. Todoroki glared at her but didn't bother to move her, finding it too tedious knowing that she would just do it again. 

Todoroki shoved her side a bit to adjust his arm but it didn't help when her breast pressed against his shoulder completely as she looked at the book with deep interest. Her eyes were calculating and distracted. Todoroki focused back onto his book, embarrassed that he was even welcoming the thought of distracting the pink-haired girl. He didn't care for her, and he highly doubted that the girl cared about him at all. 

Before he could continue reading, a warm and wet sensation overcame his senses and his left hand shot up to cover his scar that covered his left eye and parts of his cheekbone. 

It feels wet...Shoto snapped his head over to Rei once again, the girl was smiling down at him as she licked her lips. 

"I like the way you taste...it bites and lingers, the taste of Danger." Rei's charming smile turned into a sly smirk as she wrapped her arms around the boy's neck. 

"I've taken a liking to you, how about you be my Darling?" Rei's nose brushed against his own. Todoroki's lips parted and before he could say anything the girl sighed and stood from his lap. The weight of her body leaving along with the warmth. He felt cold and numb. 

Rei and Todoroki stared at each other for a few moments longer, but they didn't utter a single word as students began to file inside the classroom and Rei returned to the front of the classroom. 

I didn't even get to read my book...Todoroki thinks to himself, he glanced down at the light green cover of the flexible cover, it was lightweight and several pages had been ruined and burnt, some wrinkly from getting wet. He flipped through some of the pages before he came across a certain paragraph. In bold, it read, "Hungry Dogs are Never Loyal". Todoroki thought of Rei in that moment. 

It's strange.

Lunch had finally rolled around since first period, Rei had snuck away from the Teacher's Lounge and now browsed through the cafeteria, no doubt grabbing the unwanted attention of the other students. Rumors spread since day one that Class 1-A had a student Mentor who was their age. Everyone was curious but they were too scared to say anything, other than Neito Monoma, the arrogant Blondie from Class 1-B. 

"I heard the rumors that Class 1-A had a mentor, but didn't think that she would be our age! You must be as weak as them!!" Monoma already made his move. Rei looked down at him, her hands at her sides. Rei was around his height, a few centimeters taller, however. Her pink hair cascaded over her shoulders and brushed against her hips. 

"Who are you?" the horned girl decided to entertain the boy. 

Monoma gaped at her rude manners(thought he's just as bad), "I'm Monoma Neito!! From Class 1-B?!" he pointed at himself before adjusting his composure. Rei gave him a one-over, eyes filtering everything the boy had to work with. Rei then turned around and walked away, "If you are not my Darling, then I have no business with a mere Human like you." Rei concludes, ignoring Monoma's glare and the laughter of the students that paid attention to them. 

Monoma gritted his teeth and grabbed ahold of the girl's arm, Rei quickly snapped into action, his right leg sweeping the boy of his feet as her left hand pushed him to the ground. She crawled on top of him. Eyes glowing with malice. 

"I suggest you watch what you're doing, Vermin." Rei hissed. She got up, brushed off any dust or 'germs' that she got from touching Monoma and walked away swiftly as her hair flowed behind her. Monoma could only watch with his lips parted in amazement. His ears burned as he quickly shuffled off the ground and made his way back to his table where his classmates were waiting for him and laughing at him. 

Todoroki slurped his Cold Soba, he was practically finished already as he dumped the rest of his food and followed after Rei who disappeared in the labyrinth of hallways. 

She was like a whole different person.

Shoto seemed to gain some interest in the Pink-haired girl---mostly from her cherry-red horns.
