Marshall's POV

Chase and I were at the casino bar. Chase is still under ages but as I'm 100 I can drink so I brought a whiskey.

Chase: I didn't know you drank.

Marshall: only when I'm mad, sad or wanna die.

Chase: Which one are you now?

Marshall: pissed off. I wanted to know who one of my parents were and now I have to enter this tournament.

Bartender: here's the sign up from for the tournament sir, the rules are at the bottom.

Marshall: thanks.

After reading through the rules I noticed it said "all strategies permitted" Which made me smile.

Chase: there's a smile babe.

Marshall: listen babe...here's the plan.

1 hour time skip.

Dealer: Ladies and gentlemen the first game of the evening is starting. Can I please have team Bullets and team Nosfer.

Marshall: we're team bullets babe.

Chase: are you sure this strategy is gonna work?

Marshall: It should.

Chase and I sat down at the table across from two other Dalmatian pups, one boy and one girl who looked my age.

Chase: Hey I'm Chase and this is Marshall.

???: Silence mut!

Chase: you got a problem!

???: We're royalty if you couldn't tell you werewolf mut.

Marshall: Keep talking to my mate like that and we can settle this with fists instead of cards.

???: I am the son of Dracula! Stoker Nosfer!

Stoker then made red marks appear on his body.

Stoker: If you wanna die keep talking to me like that.

???: Know your place commoner.

I then made the red marks appear on me. Everyone around us was shocked including the royals.

Stoker: I...you're a royal.

Marshall: Yes...so I think I know my place. And my mate here is a royal werewolf too.

Stoker: I see...as fellow royalty I apologise. This is my sister Seris.

Seris: Still. Address us in such a manner again and I'll kill you.

Chase: Don't let em scik you owt Marsh.

Dealer: if both teams are ready let's begin. This game  entirely realise on if a card in your hand matches with a card in your team mates hand. This is mirror poker. As stated all strategies are aloud but you aren't aloud to interfere with the main deck.

Chase's POV

Marshall's strategy did make sense I just need to pull it off.

The dealer dealt each of us 5 cards.

Dealer's POV's

Please show your cards.

Dealer: Chase and Marshall have a Queen pair.  Team Nosfer has no matches. First round goes to Team bullets. I'll remind you it's first to 6 wins.

When the cards were handed back to me I noticed that not all the cards had been returned. One of these teams must be keeping certain cards. This isn't against the rules. Seeing at bullets had a match I'll assume it's them.
